Currently got the game in my hands, but of course it's going through steam. So can't play it before friday Q__Q Currently got a dual core 2ghz, anyone know how it will handle the game, my graph card/ram is above recomended. The jumping animation is better than Oblivion but it doesn't look too great. The game still looks a bit awkward in 3rd person, but I've always played TES in first person so it's not a huuuuge issue. So far the biggest complaints I'm hearing from people who have already beaten most of the game are (spoiling jic) + Show Spoiler + 1. Dark Brotherhood questline not that great. 2. Nord/Dwemer dungeons are boring and have "really stupid" puzzles. 3. A bit of issue finding the right difficulty level, either too easy or too hard artificially. There are streams popping up here and there and a lot of gameplay videos already so check those out if you wanna see the animations in greater detail.

I don't because of the steam date block, even if I have the Skyrim disk in my hands. Can you bypass steam or something?

The 360 version isn't date-locked, so people got their hands on a copy one way or another. This is what you're seeing in those videos.

a review copy (The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim FULL RETAIL XGD3 0800 USA-PAL-P2P) is out since 1st november. Since then the retail copy is also out (Skyrim_The_Elder_Scrolls_V_PAL_XBOX360-STRANGE) 8 november. Also lucky "commoners" can also get their retail from retailers that dont respect the release date (shipments and logistics is on tuesday, it doesnt change for Skyrim) PC copy tho is on steam, so no decryption until the australian date (http://store.steampowered.com/app/72850/?cc=au aka 19hours) and no review copy have been leaked afaik.

I intend to make love to this game. I intend on lovingly unpacking the game, and caressing it firmly, but gently. I will then proceed to make sweet gentle love to it, afterwards holding it in my big strong arms for a while. I will then gently clean it up and insert it into my optical drive. If I have done my job right it will run smoothly on my older 2.4ghz processor!

I would trust NOTHING you hear about "well ya, this part sucks" until you play it yourself.
