My regular edition is not, but everything I've heard about Amazon release date delivery says that they ship their shit out late and still gets there regular UPS time on Friday. Amazon in america seems meh, especially in Canada (talking about experience). Amazon in Europe is great though (had great experiences with amazon.fr and heard a lot of praise from .de) I've always had things get here on time or earlier, and it's PC so even if it does come early, like it looks like it will for alot of the Europeans, I couldn't do anything but admire the map anyway, so I don't mind. I've had no problems with them so far. I've done three or four US Amazon release-day deliveries, and they all have gotten here on time. I live close to a shipping center (about 3 hours away) so that could be part of it... I live in Boston, so I doubt their distribution centers will have problems getting to me...and if they do Amazon is real fucked up.
Haha, same distribution center I live near, just you are north of it and I am south of it.
It's right off of I-95 in New Jersey. I drive past it every time I go to visit my girlfriend. :p

I can confirm this one works perfectly. Takes less than 5 minutes to get it running, just done it myself.

Noone here have played it yet(Unless someone plays on console), so we don't know if it's worth it. But if it was Oblivion we were talking about I would say yes. Even though I would miss it alot, if you have nothing better to do those 5 days, then give it a try ^_^

Well, you can pay via Paypal. If nobody else can get you a connection until tomorrow, I'll set it up and give you the details after I've unlocked it myself .
edit: So that's in 17 hours? Damn... I'm in school during that time. I'll be at home like 6pm tomorrow.

Before I sign up how is their payment plan, will they have one of those trials where you get a few cheap days and then they charge you for the first month right away when the trial is done?

Amazon prime is SO worth the payments. I don't care what anyone says. Haha.

i'm thinking of getting this game for my PS3 because I'd like to play video games sitting on my comfy couch.
Is the PS3 version comparable to PC? Recommendations appreciated.

Ask again in a week. ^^;
Not trying to be an ass but I think it's unfair to say good/bad things about the games until its been played by the public for a couple days.
Watch the dragon video on a few pages back, though, it looks like the spell selection on a console would be terrifying.
ASUS G73 Laptop + Wireless mouse and keyboard + 70" Plasma TV = Heaven.

I think people really under estimate the power of mods.
New Vegas turned from a 7.5/10 game into an 11/10 game with 30 minutes of modding. Same with Oblivion. Mods really can make a huge fucking difference.

90 bux now on steam. Ouch.

It's one time payment only (for the trial).

Amen to that.
My Morrowind modifications made that game better than Oblivion. The only reason to play Oblivion over Morrowind (IMO - I know this is a greatly heated topic, much like BW vs SC2 LOL) is that Oblivion looks BEAUTIFUL vs Morrowind.
When people ask about mods and TES games, I just send this screenshot:
Very first few minutes of Morrowind..

Pretty fantastic looking Morrowind. What graphics mods are those? I actually think the character faces in Morrowind looked better than in Oblivion, even without mods.

It's about the same area as Torenhire's screenshot, couldn't get the same perspective but you get the point of mods now.
