Well, for those who have digital downloads and whatnot, proxy servers are always an option. For some reason, the Korean release is at 10AM EST tomorrow.

I've seen the spoiler videos of people playing walkthroughs on youtube, all I can say is that it seems to combine the streamlined combat of ME2 while retaining the choices/story of ME1 =3 oh god I can't wait another 26 hours...
Not to mention, a lot of times in ME1/2 you'll be pidgeonholed into purely renegade/paragon choices just so you can choose those options later in the game. Thanks to the new reputation system you won't have to do that anymore(ish).

Because distributors and publishers refuse to accept the digital age and want to live with the antiquated ways of shipping and shit, even though everything is accessible with a click of a button.
Short answer?
Greed.

I believe it was mentioned in Europe everyone gets paid on Thursday or something and they want everyone to splurge on payday rather than at the end of the pay week when everyone is broke. In the end, it's all about the money.

Edit : wrong button

I never said that for fact, was just one of the main reasons I've seen. There wasn't much else on the list of 'why' that made more sense. Can't remember who posted that, was a while back.

We have banks and credit cards. payday= the day you get paid form your employer, which is commonly though check or direct money transfer to a bank account. Also who buys games with credit cards if i don't have the money for a game i'm not gonna use a credit card.

In the US it depends on your employer and your employment level, usually the more responsibility you have, the longer period you go between paydays. week ->2 weeks -> once a month etc.

That's a payday because everyone gets paid at the same time and they all go to the bank at the same time to get cash. There is no such thing in Europe, and it has been so for a long time.

I like how this got derailed like this. Now the thread is spoiler free, xP.

It's gonna be on tonight. Mass Effect 3 all through the week. And the multiplayer is so good I'm actually wondering whether I should play some multiplayer before jumping into the campaign.

in Germany and I think in the rest of Europe too you get paid once a month.
|
Yeah, I'm pretty sure most of the world uses systems where you're paid once a month, I've never even heard of being paid on a weekly basis outside of having your own company or a really sketchy employment. In Sweden, everyone is paid between the 20th and 25th of each month, rent, bills etc are usually paid between 28th and 1st of next month.

D-d-d-d-derail!
All right, I think I've come to terms with the ending, after watching a bit more of the story.

So where's everyone pre-ordering/loading their digital copies from?
