If it did, maybe in a few years, they haven't even announced they're making it, if they are. I never really played War3 though. I never saw the appeal to it. Sorry. I found that Starcraft was a more macro intensive game, meaning it depended more on expanding, and producing. Rather than War3's micro intensive heroes. I just thought that the War3 heroes and micro was sort of silly. It was more of a "if your hero dies, you're screwed! Keep it alive" Like those games were you had to avoid being killed, by some crazy car.

I just bought sc/bw and I think Sc2 is lame and bw is the real mans game no idle peon or auto mining path. just the pure skill of the player. thank you korea for keeping the game alive. JEADONG FIGHTING! User was warned for this post

JEADONG FIGHTING! This post is far too confusing for anyone to understand. Warcraft III isn't dead, it just smells funny. It's still huge in China, and I heard (still trying to find a source) that there will be a league in China with a €110,000 prize pool in 2011. Grubby is really the only non-Asian player left able to compete with the best ![]()

Games never die, so long as at least one person enjoys them they'll keep going. Hell I still play wc3 occasionally just because I like the style even if I hate no idea what I am doing coming from a SC background. You can't kill the love people have for a game ^^!

, guess we will still see a few minor tours here & there with WCG 2011 as final goodbye tournament since rumor has it ( or its official already dunno ) that Shanghai will host wcg 2011 and I'm quite sure looking at the succes Wc3 was in 2009 Chengdu ( literally 10/15.000 people live cheering for their wc3 players , sickest thing i ever saw in e-sports :D ) that decision had a lot to do with Wc3 so I'll guess we'll see it in that one, but I don't think you can hope for anything in europe or whatsoever, just almost no interest anymore, which is sad cause I loved this game as well, would like a few changes though :D but it was great. Now that I think of it, 2011, WCG, Shanghai, awesome buuuuut, sc II, battle.net ONLINE?, gonna play a lan tournament online while being in China? :D blizzard better have chinese servers running by then otherwise its the fail of the century t_t

I guess it became standard for Blizzard not to support their old games after WoW came out... Just look at it: BW ladder getting killed, D2 and WC3 being neglected into oblivion (it would be such a simple fix to get runewords and hacks done with in D2 and even simpler thing to increase the frequency of ladder resets and map-pool rotation in WC3). Once again I must bring the Relic Entertainment here, just look how they cater to their games. CoH is receiving constant updates, including major graphics overhauls (like adding DX10 support). Blizzard is large enough company to do the same for its older games, why won't they do it then?

Yeah but the custom map scene has been ruined by all those damn hostbots. It's near impossible to host a game without a hostbot these days - they have found a way to circumvent the regular BNet refresh system so their games are always on top. Therefore a normally hosted game has no chance of being seen by players.
