I'm done with this game until they fix the spawn system. A bunch of retards spawning and shooting eachother in the back is not fun

Really? Haven't had any issues so far.

Players who don't tend to fly around corners ready to drop a team in a third of a second and prefer to work angles and play a bit more slowly will feel very at home with this gun.

3. HS10 - The thing reloads almost instantly, 1hits at close range (like a shotgun should), is semi-auto and is an absolute beast in modes like domination where there's a lot of CQB. On top of that, you can run around with two (You'll need steady aim if you want to hit anything consistently with this, and it reloads so fast sleight of hand really isn't needed anyway).

4. G11 - I put this above the AK47 simply because I think it has insane potential that I have yet to explore, for reasons I said above

5. AK47 - The gun simply gets kills. Same damage as Commando, recoil a tad worse. Great weapon to use while you are leveling from 38 to 44.

6. Stoner63 - Shoots fast, hits hard. You'll kill a guy in three hits if you can control the recoil well enough. For an LMG, 30 shots in the clip and an atrocious reload time means you'll definitely want sleight of hand, but if you can control the recoil you'll be on fire.

7. M60 - Run into a room, hold fire, kill everyone, lyao.

8. Tie between the Famas and AUG. Tempeted to lean towards the AUG, but I stuck to the ak74u as much as I could because I did not like them t.t

NOTE: These are again for PC.

how dare you not have the FN FAL up there? its like the best gun in the game aside from ak and commando. 2 bullet kill, very little/manageable recoil, alot of bullets, fast reload.

And my comment about FPS was me trying to say that I'm not having any issues with FPS post-patch where the guy I quoted said there was some stuttering. It stays around 90-100, sometimes going up to 125 but sadly never during action. And I can't see more than 60 anyway because my monitor is at 60Hz. However, gun firing is tied to FPS, and your FPS can be low enough to where the fire rate slows down. However, 90 is just fine for that. So FPS for me is more than just what I can see too.

NOTE: I have found people complaining about game crashes after this patch. I just got done playing and some people would leave the game and come back to the server saying the game crashed on them. Even the guy I played with said it crashed. One person said they had a truncate error of some sort. Now I didn't have any problem, but keep a lookout for any reports or if it happens to you and tell Treyarch immediately. I don't like the fact this game is pretty shitty as it stands but I'd rather them fix the hell out of it than never fix it at all.

After some more research the "Rapid Fire" attachment along with the AK74U is possibly the best combination in the short to medium range. (Note: Obviously a 1-hit kill from a shotgun will beat you at super short)

If your claymore is gone use nova gas to lock down chokepoints if enemies are trying to flank. Thought to share this for other people wanting to snipe. Just don't use the zooming scopes, Acog on any sniper will do better I think.


I tried this today, and it works pretty well. I just hate the ACOG scope. I'll get used to it though.

indeed - same here

just hanging out with quite a lot people for a communitygather and since the patch went up pretty much everybody has some problems (mostly shutdowns and freezes)...was prefomancewise better before the patch...

Wow this patch is a disaster. So I'm getting a better overall frame rate, over 50 in most scenarios, but I stutter every few seconds regardless of what's going on. I actually think it made the game less playable. At least with a low but consistent frame rate I could get used to it but now I'm at the mercy of random stutters. Also I think some of the ambient sound got fucked up.

Yeah. The round thing is the grenade. When it happened, it looked like it went past my head. Then it killed me and I watched the Killcam, and the grenade bounced off of NOTHING and rolled towards me. No force acted on it. It should have kept going away from me.

Edit: I guess you could say it went off the cinderblock, but the grenade didn't even come close to it.

I have a question to anyone who has this game for Xbox. How does this game compare to Halo Reach? I'm only asking because I bought Halo Reach and I'm kind of hesitant about spending another 60 dollars so soon after. I don't usually buy a lot of games. Could anyone tell me how this compares to Reach first off on a competitive level? Is it more balanced and do you think the competitive scene in this game will be bigger than Reach? And secondly, which game is more fun? (Purely subjective, I know, but I'd love to hear what other people think.) So basically, should I buy this game, when I own Reach, and Modern Warfare 2?

If you want to play Reach competitively, wait until the MLG playlist comes out next month.

As for this game, I think it's still too young to have much of a competitive scene.

Just tested it in Black Ops. Went down to 45 and the Galil does not fire as fast. Although it's probably not enough to matter for most people, it does bug me.

Although it's much more prominent of an effect in older CoD's. Also, I back when I played 2 religiously, I also had a PC that would be at 125 one moment, then drop to 20 the next.

Your gun not firing as fast client-side does not necessarily mean it actually isn't firing at max speed. Regardless of your framerate, the game recognizes that +attack is held down the entire time and is putting shots wherever your crosshair is. The CoD engine isn't retarded (it's ID tech 3, come on now)

Well I have both and don't particularly like either, I think the predecessors are better in both cases (I am sure this is exactly the response you were looking for.) I think that Reach will probably have a bigger console competitive scene because its not split over systems, however COD for PC will probably equal reach (guessing). I think Reach is also better balanced, COD's spawn system is really terrible for the most part. However COD released with better maps which is a given... since Reach's map pool is probably the worst map pool ever in a video game just so you can buy DLC ones+ Show Spoiler +
I fucking hate console games for this lately
. COD also added a lot of community features that haven't been explored much yet.
