SOrry, but I was about to do the same thing, but on Steam it costs 60e and u dont even get a discount because its a digital download. I will pre-order it and get it on monday from my local game store PLUS I save 10e cause it costs 50euro + I get the box + I get a T-shirt!!!

ALSO im also excited for this game since me and my mates we were playing MW2 hardcore! and were pwning all noobs xcept hackers! so now with the dedicated servers it gonna be soooo much fun! I hope we dont lag as hell tho cause we'r from Greece.

Dedicated servers would really give the edge to the PC version. I like a lot of the changes perk wise, no longer having to use stopping power because other people are using it, really will allow for better play. The guns seem neat too, thankfully no ump+silencer that was really redic after a while. However the Famas change almost makes me sad. It would be even better if it wasn't being released on a Tuesday though -.-

I tried it on my modded xbox. It's not bad. I like the campaign better than the MW2 one. I also played some system link multiplayer through XBSlink (console tunneling software). Absolutely everything was unlocked from the start and I tell you there are a lot of guns. It's really fun but I encountered some shitspawning (like in MW1) in Free for all on Nuketown (the smallest map in the game).

Kinda anxious to wait this game. I was thinking that next game that i start play seriously is Black ops. I got some fps background (used to play CoD: united offensive and was quite good at that)

but havent really played fps games so that's kinda bad. and dont know is there competive scene on console fps games :o

I'm so torn whether to bum rush max level and then casual it out or just troll people from the begining. (Shotgun only or some flamethrower scavenger claymore combo)

By the way when this game hits on tuesday if any PC players looking for people TL should get a list together.

Never understood all the complaining about MW2.

It seemed sort of like the QQing about SC2 around launch (if you recall, even guys like Artosis were producing fountains of tears about it), only a guy like Artosis is really quite reasonable, and once he discovered he was being stupid about it, he relented, and the FPS community lacks this sort of deeper analysis that SC has as the most developed eSport franchise.

Sure, they needed to balance more, but it wasn't ANYWHERE NEAR as unbalanced as people suggest, and the ridiculous breadth of equipment combined with the hard counter nature of a lot of setups for other setups made for a really interest rock paper scissors experience. Of course, MLG lack the fortitude to support something like that and so banned a whole bunch of in game stuff for no reason, and IW was basically in the middle of imploding during this whole period (hence the lack of contract renogotiation), effectively destroying the competitive scene.

It's a real shame that MW2 gets such a bad rap, because it's a really, really, really good game, and it just happened to be the victim of a snowballing meme of internet tears.

CoD 2 was the first game i played on the internet. It brought me into the scene of gaming. Then came CoD4 and it was even better(my opinion). But after CoD WaW and CoD MW2 i feel like the CoD series went a way that is WAY to mainstream and noobfriendly. I mean in CoD4 u would get kicked kicked in like 3 sec after using noobtube (grenadelauncher). CoD WaW was just CoD 4 painted in the colours of 2nd WW and CoD MW2......no Dedi Servers....... Steam(well for me Steam isnt the problem .....Valve Anti Cheat is the problem) and uberhyper OP Guns and Perks....
But CoD 7 looks interesting: Dedi servers are back and those modes look like a lot of fun (well not for e-Sport). I think i will wait and see how it developes.....

I've been looking for a new competitive fps. I had high hopes of sudden attack taking off in north America, but it didn't and won't unless a new company buys it.

From what I've seen, this is going to be a good game. I'll just what I like so far.

- dedicated servers (of course)
- mod tools !!!!!!!!!!
- more recoil and armor is reduced

. A magazine reviewing the gameplay on YouTube said it felt like cod2 and that's a huge positive for me.
- making the sniper harder to use
- shotguns have to be primary (no camping Snipers with shotty)

I'm preloading can't wait

This looks exactly like the last one and the one before that, there is no innovation whatsoever. I stopped supporting call of duty after cod4, after that they have just been pumping another game out every year, it's pathetic. No thanks.

yeah, but its good that theyr aweful, means all the people who use consoles realise theyr not actually better than those using a pc

although, no autoaim console FPS games have a much higher skill ceiling than pc FPS

Innovation in a FPS?Is it me or FPS hasn't had any innovation since the dawn of time lol.I have played cod since cod 2 actually and Cod 4 was good but not awesome.Cod waw was fun very fun actually.I have some faith in Treyarch for making Cod WaW (Zombies,COOP single and zombies is always awesome,Dedicated servers being a must,Basic story in campaign there wasn't a good story ever in a COD game for me atleast,and most importantly fun multiplayer.)There shouldn't be any hopes for COD Black ops or any cod to come to be competitive really.
