 Btw, how do you map shorcuts for spells(I don't mean how to do it, but how tlers mapped them)? Ins and stuff looks kinda bad, by not 123456789? Cause having to remove your hand from arrows to press one is strange :o Tho I have 3 macros button under the spacebar | ||

For your reference Zakum runs will start sometime between 10PM and 11PM EST, see if you odd-time-zone guys can make it. Who knows, if you're lucky enough, you'll see me failing despite having power elixirs on autopot... ... and where's KlueyTL? Mind you that this is the standard English keyboard, uh, so French layout might be different: + Show Spoiler + ~: battleship 1: macro (maple warrior, gun booster) 2: (t)roll of the dice 3: homing beacon 4: summon gaviota 5: summon octopus a: battleship torpedo s: battleship cannon d: air strike shift: macro (flamethrower, icethrower?) ctrl: rapid shot z: recoil shot x: wings space: pick up basically: buffs/summons on top left, active things on bottom left. potions are on insert-home-pageup-delete-end-pagedown, but that's probably because I don't manually pot anymore (pet autohp). | ||

I left Maplestory around the time when the Henesys PQ was new (the really low level one, if there's like more than one Henesys PQ now or something <_<) and I absolutely despised the game for being so addictive and eating my life. The grind was terrible, I hated the fact that one missed skill point would make your character suck. Well, that person who said that you never really quit Maplestory was right. xDD So I read the OP, and the grind is much better now? If so, then I'll be willing to play with you guys, if you'll be willing to have me. =O Just a couple questions though, do I still need to look up guides for where to put my skill points in and how to roll my character and for good spots to level up? | ||

I have a few questions though. Questions I am sure have been asked before somewhere in these million pages. Please bare with me. 1. If you had to compare this game to another MMO, which would you go with? Because of the graphics, I can't help but think this is similar to something like Runescape, and was wondering if my impression is correct (not that it would be a bad thing, RS was my first MMO and will always have a place in my heart). 2. How is the game's economy? I love to get in-game-rich when I play games. I don't know why, but its always my favorite part. Does the game have an auction house of some kind? Can you trade with other players? Ect. 3. How is the community? I would assume the SC2 guild is a great group of people, but how is the rest of the population? 4. Can I show off? I love having gear/achievments/vaniety items that say "I am awesome" to everyone who looks at them. 5. How is the PvE? 6. How is the PvP? 7. Is there an article/guide you would suggest to give me a feel for how the game plays? 8. What is your favorite part of the game? Why? | ||

"Grind" is much better, most people hit level 120 within a month. Well, if you're willing to play 2 hrs/day, you might even reach it in 2 weeks. People still complain about grind though =P Many skills have been re-balanced, and there are heaps of new characters now, so you want to read into it. Some of the resources included in the OP may be useful. Make sure you get the server right (read the OP!) and PM opshot1, capeqt, terriblegear, or kyuukyuutl. Ugh... we don't exactly discuss SC2 all that much, most of us (especially guild offers) are SCBW veterans and we try to keep a good balance between the two games. We have kicked numerous people in the past solely because that person incited idiotic arguments comparing the two games. No auction house, there is free market where people have personal shops open. Our community is awesome - we're mostly mature people although there is lots of harmless trolling going around all the time. Dumbheads get weeded out pretty quickly because I have short temper =P Showing off is usually done through the use of chairs - they are symbols of wealth basically. The good ones are not easy to get. PvP is garbage, many people experience delays in it, it's never a 1v1 (FFA, team3v3+, capture the flag), lots of imbalances, etc. PvE is basically the game. Watch our videos and check out the screenshots (read the OP thoroughly). Favourite part of the game? Chilling with guildies. | ||
