Levelin's easy as shit. I can get 1-120 in under a week. Oh, Kritty's PM was nice. I thought I'd share it with you guys.

I just bought a pair of pants with 17 dex, 3 line 6% dex. Guess what? THEY'RE DARK PIRATE PANTS AND I CAN'T WEAR THEM WITH MY 10 FAME. Thank you very much.
Haha. That is hillarious.

Lol yea the bad old days of training at FOG with what we thought 10% every hour as good exp. Lol anyways I agree with what roffles said earlier about leveling being easy so I'm just going to expand on his comment. Now days a good determination of a good map to train on is if you are getting 3 to 4 levels an hour. Also leveling after 120 it starts to slow down. I think it might be still faster than before until a certain level. I can't say for sure when it becomes slower to level than before because of my level. However I can definitely say that at 170 and beyond the leveling speed is three times as slow due to the fact that nexon took away the 2x experience cards as well a changing the family 2x buffs to only 1.2x.
If someone else has a better minimum level from actual recent playing experience please correct me but my guess would be if you have a level 140 or higher then it might be worth it to world transfer.
So with that said it is still faster leveling at a high level in deme than in most other servers simply because of two main reasons. 1. Most boss maps are usually open and so you don't have to wait to go on boss runs which is where most of your exp will be coming from at a high level. 2. If you are in the TL guild most of the time it will be very easy to find enough people to make a party to help you sign up for boss runs even if they are not actually going on the run with you. But if you are bossing for exp its actually better to solo or duo.
So yea in summary. Below 120 definitely reroll. Between 120 and 170, I'm not completely sure. 170 and above definitely world transfer. Hope my post was somewhat helpful in assisting you in your decision.

I'd say if you're in the 145+ range transfer because the consensus was it takes longer after about 140. Also if you're an old school 140+ you should be a ritzy baller so you won't have to restart from scratch.
|
I pretty much agree with xusam. I would say if you're 130+, server transfer.120-130 is not too hard because solo pap gives amazing exp. When you supplement pap with training at 110-120 training spots, the leveling only gets slow at 130. After 130, if you can solo anego, then leveling will be farily easy for you. Otherwise, you are stuck at mediocre training spots until Cornians.

Hmm, when I'm playing with the proxy, I feel a bit of lag which is a shame. I have a 4-5 years old account which I can log into the game w/o the proxy, but with the account I made like 2-3 days ago I've to use the proxy or I'll get the error that I'm from different region when trying to log into the game :/.

Dear fellow guildies,
Naonao and I are thinking of hosting a trial czak run this weekend considering the level requirement of 140 is not as high as the requirement for HT at 160. So I guess I am posting to get an estimate of the number of people in the guild who are interested in a Czak run.
Now before you enlist your services please read the following requirements that needs to be met for you to best stay alive and contribute during a Czak run.
1. level 140 unless you are a seduce or magic crash mule in which case you need minimum 10k hp base without hb 2. ranged needs 5k hp base, without hb because czak dispels 15 to 25 times a minute so any party buffs unless it is decent hb will not be very useful 3. melee preferably will need 12k hp without hb because the czak body hits for 6k and you will definitely be running into the body during seduce
Now below you will find information regarding what we will need as a party to have the best chance of actually taking down Czak.
Mandatory 1. five people with at least 12k hp to act as attackers/sed mules. 2. At least one bishop alive through the entire czak run. Basically if bishop dies its over because czak will sed and 1/1 you consecutively.
Optional but HIGHLY recommended 1. a lot of ranged people with high dps 2. as many bishops as possible with max res and at least one point into hero's will 3. as many SP into hero's will skill (max 5) as possible
So to summarize the name of the game here is to survive. Therefore the focus here is on meeting the HP requirement. Party skills are not as important because of the many times czak will be dispelling. I believe we as a guild have the dps to take down czak but not sure about the HP.
I am currently working on a guide/strategy used for successful czak runs by consulting people who have failed and then succeeded at czak. I find it more helpful than simply talking to people with 30k hp and max godly gear because for them czak is so easy they might not consider certain things that might be difficult for us.

Golems were easy mode. Finding a coolies map was the good times ^_^
I kinda want to start playing again and seeing as my Crossbowman is completely broken it'd be easier to re-roll on the TL server...I just don't want to leave all my mediocre equipment behind that was godly when I got it
How many hours would it take to get to bossing level? I saw that you can solo pap at 110 or 120, but I'm more interested in Zakum and the newer bosses like Pink Bean...Zakum is probably a joke now though ^_^

Rofl @ Pink Bean. 110 for Zak, 120 for Pap, round 135 for Scar/Targa, bout 150s and 160s for HT/CZak.
Bout a week to 100, another week to 120, then a level or two a day till about 130. Then it gets harder from thereon out.
|
Week to 100 playing how many hours a day exactly? I know leveling is a lot faster, but it can't be that fast...

It takes about 3-4 hours from 1-30, then about 10-15 minutes a level from 30 to about 45. From 45 till 70, it takes at most 30 minutes per level. Hits about 45 minutes per level at about level 100. You can get to 100 in a week playing about 4-5 hours a day, which would have netted you 1 level a day if you were lucky back when Maple first started up.
|
About four days to 70 playing maybe 2-3 hours a day? It's around ~15 minutes a level from 50-70. So yes it is that fast, and yeah if all you do with your playtime is grind you can make 100 in a week pretty easy I'd say.
|
I don't have that much time to devote to Maple ^_^ Maybe if it was 6 or 7 years back when I was a teenager...
I suppose I could get there eventually but meh
|
This is just assuming you want to powerlevel though. It took me a little over a month to get to 120, and, uh, even longer to get from 120 to 134 (current) >_> so it doesn't really matter, as long as you log in fairly often even if it's just to chill we are happy to have you.

For Czak Get shadowers for seduce mules, you cannot rely on any other class 100% really.
Seduce mules enter first, then order of entering goes from highest hp -> lowest hp. (First 5 to enter are going to be seduced, if they die the 6th to enter and so on will be seduced.)
Bishops have to spam MG constantly, Pot Lock is annoying, and zombify is invisible (Or can be, so don't go healin like crazy)
Czak is much harder than a lot of people let on need either 5 shadowers for seduce, 2 bishops for res/heal/dispel, at least 1 magic crasher , and some ranged attackers with high dpm. or, 5 warriors/shadowers/other for seduce, some bishops for res/heal/dispel, and some high damage range
I'm in windia and run pretty frequently > < if we enter with 12 people, at least 3 are going to die. when i first did it , we entered with 24 people, and 18 people died or disconnected.
it's best if runners are 170+, but it's completely possible for 140+ to do it XD.
edit: you might run out of time if dpm is not high enough :x

yea.. basically what is above is the short version of it... there's definitely more things to add but whats written above is basically the general idea...
on another note... would anyone mind if I world transferred over my friend's 161 paladin from scania to join guild and play with us?... hes a good ms friend of ours (gina and me) when we used to play in scania but he's not a SC guy at all... anyways its just an idea... you guys don't have to say yes... i just thought he'd be a nice addition to the guild even if hes not a big SC fan... hes played ms since beta and has 161 paladin, 155 NL, 155 MM in scania and currently hes playing his 155 hero in zenith... other than the fact he's not a big SC fan he kind of reminds me of naonao in terms of friendliness so as a person I'd say everyone would like him... ok anyways just throwing it out there xD
edit: also im sure if hes required to post here to join, then he will.. and hes not against SC... i just dont think he plays it... he just might not talk about SC in ms if it comes up as a topic... but maybe if we talk about it then he'll get interested in sc
