I am no architect, but rather I am an admirer of architecture. My observations of the world have led me to believe that the most telling feature of a society is its ability to create. The things that society creates are reflections of its power, wealth, and technology. Unfortunately, this is but a dream for the every man, as his personal power and wealth are limited- just as a business or civilization is- this may never be attained for all. I can but hope to gain the power and wealth to express myself through such a medium as architecture one day. As such, I would like to introduce my virtual piece of architecture that I call The Atrium. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/rNKhk.png) The view looking towards the west Its design is inspired by the works of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, one of the masters of the Modern Architecture movement. In The Atrium, I attempted to mimic his style in the way that The Atrium is minimally supported and is open and I wanted to maintain as open an interior as possible without compromising its functionality. Personally, I am bored of seeing castle after castle. Ever since the first iteration of the server I have strived to be different and create things that push the boundries of what the medium of minecraft can offer. I sincerely wish that someone else will put in the time to raise it further in this community. It would be an honor to concede the placement of the figurative bar. Humbly, I must recommend that projects should not be started so high on a mountain top since the maximum height is 128 on Y. It was the major flaw in the design of this structure as i would have liked The Atrium to be less spherical and more slender at the top. I'd also like to thank Resistedx for his consent in destroying 90% of what we had created in order for me to have the space to complete this project as well as his input and help. SEREJAI!!!!! hi. I just found out that mob spawners are destructable by default. Could you remove that feature so stupid people like me don't destroy them by accident? :X I would love you forever and dedicate a stone to you in the great wall of revoton! PS: Glowstone, QQ! | ||

At the moment the entire RPG element of the server is on indefinite hold due to various reasons, including but not limited to: a) NPCs not functioning properly in 1.0 b) Custom mob settings not working in 1.0 c) Spout being discontinued (need this for custom blocks, monsters, etc) However, the gist of the story was (and upfront, I'm not SirJolt so don't expect a masterpiece) that the skylands was a former world and it was destroyed by some wizard so everyone wakes up in a cave on the main map with amnesia. Also, the monsters from the skylands are starting to invade the main world, too. Great plot, huh? Map was going to be rather dynamic with monsters invading certain areas, monster strongholds popping up, etc. I simply can't do any of that in 1.0 at the moment but that's the lore in a nutshell. I didn't give official names to anything yet so you're more than welcome to name areas and NPCs yourself and if it gets to the point where our content works in 1.0 then I'll simply use your names. | ||

...also "/cprivate name" makes you add yourself and that person to the access list. Full command list can be seen with /lwc. | ||
