I know its going to be awhile hence i said wait. im in no rush. @mino unfortunately setting it as read only gave me an error that it couldnt access the files and crashes on me. :\ I might just have to redownload the client again, or something.

Unfortunately, that'll only work if the server is running in offline mode. indemand, try replacing your version file that's in the same folder as the .jar with mine. Then try launching the game with the old .jar. I think it's the version file that triggers the update depending on its contents. Might be wrong, though, but it's worth a try.

I've just tried this; Minecraft still auto-updates. I suppose we'll just have to wait for Bukkit and the server to update accordingly.

People have even been mining out the single-layer sand that I've put down to cover up the crap that other people have mined out. It's called industrial development. Hopefully there's an admin command to replace all the blocks underground. With all the players on the server, eventually there's going to be no land left to mine. And it seems like this problem is making itself present next to your home. As for the sand you placed down, there's hardly any sand anywhere. I mine my sand from underwater camps because there are no easily found deserts anywhere.

![]() If the old pre-beta map supported 100 or so players with sand just fine, this map should be supporting a few thousand easy. There's literally that much more sand here than previous maps.

We never had sand issues pre-beta, and we had no deserts back then as well as a map 1/5th the size, AND more players. I just can't really fathom where all of this sand is going unless it's sitting in chests somewhere for the hell of it. ![]() If the old pre-beta map supported 100 or so players with sand just fine, this map should be supporting a few thousand easy. So they can make sandstone.

Hell, if I had a credit card, I might just chip in for an account for you. We could always use more awesome people on the server. =)
