Spiral sucks. Archangel is underwhelming without Pyromancer. Aurelia also fairly underwhelming, it's "good with other creatures out" but all of your creatures are expensive. Resto is whatever without actual targets other than Snapcaster.
The list looks incredibly soft to other midrange decks, especially other blue decks. The curve is too high to maximize Revelation which is your trump against midrange/control decks; your spells are too expensive to cast and protect, much less cast 2 relevant spells a turn to stay even/pull ahead, and the mono-sorcery-speed-5-drops-with-no-value plan is like the perfect storm of being bad against counterspells and removal.
tl;dr - the list is too inefficient and is going to struggle with tighter lists with similarly powerful cards.

Suppose your opponent has had a creature (power >= 4) out for several turns, and then during your first main phase you cast domestication on it. Can you swing with it before you sacrifice it at the beginning of your end step? I want to say yes, because what would be the point otherwise, but someone told me in order for a creature to not be sick you need to have had it since the beginning of your upkeep.

A creature's activated ability with the tap symbol or the untap symbol in its activation cost can't be activated unless the creature has been under its controller's control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. A creature can't attack unless it has been under its controller's control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. This rule is informally called the "summoning sickness" rule.

So that means if you use domestication on a larger creature, you will be unable to attack with it, and essentially only remove a blocker for the duration of the turn?

Yes. Theres a reason why Red take your shit effects have the Haste clause on it. Blue is permanent but no haste.

Does Witchstalker target itself for the purposes of Dismiss Into Dreams?

I haven't played MTG for years now, but I'm thinking about trying to get back into the swing of things.
I'm thinking about running this for a Legacy event since I remember loving Mother of Runes protecting my Ancient Silverbacks when I was in high school.
From what I've read online Maverick seems like a good deck to run, been testing this with a friend on Workstation but that's not the same as shuffling cards and facing random peeps.
Here's the list:
+ Show Spoiler +2 Elspeth, Knight-Errant 3 Fauna Shaman 1 Gaddock Teeg 4 Knight of the Reliquary 3 Mirran Crusader 4 Mother of Runes 4 Noble Hierarch 2 Qasali Pridemage 1 Scavenging Ooze 4 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben 4 Green Sun's Zenith 4 Swords to Plowshares 2 Umezawa's Jitte 1 Dryad Arbor 3 Forest 1 Horizon Canopy 1 Karakas 3 Plains 4 Savannah 1 Tower of the Magistrate 3 Wasteland 4 Windswept Heath 1 Yavimaya Hollow I haven't bought the cards yet although I own a lot of the older ones, so I wanted to ask any Legacy players here if this is a pile or not?

Elspeth, Fauna Shaman, and Mirran Crusader (especially) seem really slow. You also need some Stoneforge Mystics and Deathrite Shamans. 4 Thalia is probably too many. I'm not a Legacy expert, so that's about as much as I can offer in terms of observations, but you can find polished Maverick lists on most major websites.

Isn't Maverick's BUG match up atrocious?

Won a game after stabilizing on 1 life against 41. I kinda feel proud of myself even when there was like no skill involved (as in, Jace in M14 draft is a pretty good card). Lost the match anyways.
Also got my copy of FTV20 and as you can probably expect, the foils are curved.

So when it was 1 life against 41, you milled them? If you managed to reduce their life total to 0 I think that is more impressive.
Jace is awesome in a 4 booster sealed event since players only have 30 cards!

Jace is awesome in a 4 booster sealed event since players only have 30 cards! Stabilized on 1 before I played Jace. Then it was just two mill 10's and gg.
I think it would've required some actual skill to win by life totals.

Was thinking about doing a draft on ccgdecks or tappedout with some friends. I've been out of it for awhile... since like Mirrodin and holy crap it doesn't feel like 10 years ago.. Anyways, any sets best for drafting for someone less familiar with what's new? I'm guessing M13 or M14 should be fine but wanted to see if you guys have any suggestions

Just as much as what you did or if your opponent didnt miss a point of damage somewhere.

My last couple of drafts were interesting.
Thursday I did an mtgo m14 draft where I went mono-white small creatures and removal. I would get some small creatures out, make my opponent's creatures unable to act or force him to sacrifice them, and then swing swing swing. I placed second of eight this way.
Yesterday at FNM I drafted a W/U deck with 100% flying creatures and multiple wardens of evos isle. One game I cast a trained condor for one mana rofl. The rest of my spells were counter spells. It was very satisfying when it worked but hit or miss, putting me at 2-2. The idea was that the wardens would allow me to put out fliers and still be able to afford counter spells on my opponent's turn, the fliers would fly over my opponents, etc.

Yeah, U/W is one of the color combinations I try most to avoid in M14, along with W/R and B/G. Blue is a great color, but white is very weak as a color, and offers nothing in terms of synergy aside from some decent uncommons and Pacifism. W/B and W/G aren't great either, but they at least have some themes to build around.

So I bought a few cards to introduce the game in my gaming group as a 2 player game, got a sphinx revelation. Seems to be worth a lot :p

You just need a few fliers with 3 toughless and you'll eventually get there, otherwise just get removal / counters / card draw.
