I was looking at the SCG Event Schedule and found a Team Sealed event. What are the rules and the format for this event??

Well...the format is Team Sealed. Basically you enter with a team of 3 people, open some product (IIRC it's 3 sealed decks and 6 packs), and build 3 decks out of it.
We found Dove in a soapless place.

O man, I just brewed a hilarious and possibly good BUG aggro/evolve deck on mtgo. I put one corpsejack menace in as a joke and very quickly upped it to 3. He is actually pretty insane in the deck. Had a board of 2 0/1 cloudfins and a corpsejack. I draw and play strangleroot geist, both cloudfins to 2/3, I then tragic slip geist, geist comes back a 4/3 and cloudfins go to 4/5s and I attack for 16. Not to mention just playing him usually always triggers evolve and gives double counters.

In that kind of deck you might want to try Lotleth troll and Bioshift. Dzy brewed that kind of deck a while ago, but he played it with cards like Increasing Savagery and Fathom Mage. He decided the deck wasn't going anywhere (but it was a lot of fun). If you're going for a different angle, being aggro instead of card advantage, you might have another shot at something good.

Dzy had the most epic plays with Bioshift, like making a 42/41 Lotleth troll out of nowhere using double Bioshift with a Corpsejack on board. Drawing 20 cards a turn also was hilarious.

About the weaknesses of his deck, I think it wasn't doing too well against aggro (lots of 4 drops that don't have a huge impact when they hit the board). He did ok against control because of cards like Strangleroot and Lotleth plus the ability to match their card draw.
If you have a good reason to disagree with the above, please tell me. Thank you.

There's a BUG evolve/undying deck with Zameck Guildmage that has been showing up here and there in DEs and such, including a grinder win at GP London. Mostly just jam Rancor on crappy dudes that either get big or can't die if you have the Guildmage and draw a bunch of cards to outlast their removal. Maindeck Abrupt Decays and such to blast through Reckoner, otherwise your Rancor'd dudes just "trade" with their blockers until they run out of guys.

Total noob here, but I have to express how much fun my first deck is to play. Relentless rats (shitty I know) with a Thrumming stone is pretty funny once you get rippled rats. This game is too deep for me to play too seriously.
Hey! How you doin'?

Ground Assault: Kinda an awesome card for RG, apparently. Especially for being just an uncommon. 2 mana removal for most creatures. (Assuming you make your land drops and aren't dealing with a deck that ramps into something giant.)

Kind of disappointed looking at the gp Quebec results. Hopefully this isn't the eventual conclusion of standard atm, but it kind of reinforces my feelings that creatures are just way more powerful than instants/sorceries atm. Nice to see a reanimator up there, though.

Not really, it's just that control builds are locked into White right now, and double White at that. It's the same "problem" that control decks have always had, once the format diversifies, control suffers because it's a trade off it has to make between match-ups. It's just that much accentuated since most control decks opt to play for the mill plan which is always more difficult than just play something like a Titan and win in 2 or 3 swings. That being said, there are no good finishers for a control build outside of Council thanks to the incredibly underwhelming UB/UW guild leaders. Like this format is incredibly well-positioned for a big 6 drop in control builds, except that we really don't have one.

Sidenote:

Like I bet that Zombie deck took (or would take) down quite a few Esper decks simply because no Esper deck is positioned to handle it.

Sidenote 2:

I like how everyone was saying/playing Jund control because there are no bad match-ups, which is entirely true. I don't think they are disadvantaged in any MUs on paper.

Out of curiosity, aside from being a 7CMC, rather than 6, why would you not consider Lord of the Void for that big bomb? I'm wanting people's thought processes on him, since he's a rather amazing card once he's on the table.

Because for precisely the reason you just mentioned, he's 7 CMC and doesn't generate any immediate advantage. If I am going to go up to 7, might as well go up to 8 in this format and aim for Griselbrand.

But again, despite this mild griping, RtR is already slower than the previous standard. At least I have lines to stop Jund, I had like miracle draws (not lines) against Delver.

I think the biggest problem is the lack of a combo deck, something to keep the midrange/aggro honest so they have to dilute their 75. Or they can just print Baleful Strix in standard, that would be nice.

The "combo" decks in Standard just beat midrange and unprepared control, they lose to aggro lol.

I don't hate the idea of playing Griselbrand in Esper tbh. It's that or like, Angel of Serenity and while I like Angel quite a bit I don't think it's at its best in Esper. There really isn't anything at 6 that I'd really want to play in those colors.

In UWR there are more options but less need, unless you want to go a far more controlling route than the current Reckoner builds... and even then Reckoner + Harvest Pyre is such a clean kill condition.

Why not deathpact angel for your 6 drop? Sure, she's nothing super special, but she'll "live" through your own wraths with little issue. I'm suspecting you're looking for something that impacts the board more though...

Because theres no reason to play something that doesnt net me immediate value. Tap out for angel get RR-ed for 5, still lose the game.

Like the best card is Niv but the colors are so terrible. If we get black wrath even something like BSZ would make me switch to Grixis.

Wouldn't Killing wave work for grixis? I'm pretty unfamiliar with how grixis control works, but that card seems pretty good at least from my perspective...

Agro doesn't care about their life total. T4 Take 3 for each of your creatures!

I miss playing nivmizzet in RUG but even then I usually just played thundermaw as my "finisher" after locking up games.
