That's a different game than the one usually discussed in this thread. Think of that as the gateway into actual Magic
DotP2013 is the current version of the game you're playing, though.

haha. my bad. outdated dotp. im kinda lost. i thought mtg online is about mtg related pc games like dotp. i used to play alot of mtg since 1999. i mean physical cards, personal interactions, face to face.

Correct. Limiting it to 2 color would make it feasible, but then you'd have a very limited set of tools to work with and no guarantee of having a 4-of card in your hand to deal with the aggression that wizards seems to be pushing.

There are no good true Wraths in black, absolutely 0. Barter is as close as it comes, but still pretty terrible.

I was playing chess only because of Magic during that time because nearly everyone at tournaments was playing Magic aswell :p I even had way more than 1k$ worth of cards, but they were stolen and then I stopped. I don't know about the online edition, but there is a game for pc which is really really old, has all the old cards, is playable online and you can download it for free because it is abandonware, atleast home of the underdogs hosted it for quite some time. Here's the linkYou just need manalink to play online. My brother always refused to play vs me though because I love builds involving stuff like Kismet, Library of Leng, Stasis and such. Much more fun to win that way!
WRONG POST: this message is mean for HOMM. sorry. Agree. 2, 4 and 5 were the best. Preferred 4 as the best. Im amazed that teamliquid has forums on all my fave games. broodwar, civilization, magic the gathering and homm.

Quick! P1 P1, Grisly Spectacle, Truefire Paladin or Skarrg Guildmage. Pool is good players, house draft.

oh yeah, MCMcEmcee on cockatrice but I pretty much only ever get on to playtest with friends late at night (or to troll 1 random unlucky person with a bad brew), most of my actual playtesting is with physical cards.
Still need to improve my UWR sideboard, my sideboard plans randomly get the job done at FNMs and such but that's not a good indicator lol.

I literally just started playing MTG 2 weeks ago... i now play MTGO and am somewhat addicted... my favorite card is Ethereal armor. I run 4 of em in a white/blue deck and run 8 other enchantment cards... last game i had a stealer of secrets with lifelink hitting for 18 lol was funny to see a guy trying to outrace my one card with 6
id like to run a green/white with it but only because i love the card Rancor, and most enchantments i run are white... but i dont have rancor, and since i havent played too much MTGO i just seem to have a best blue set of cards better than the rest of my colors

I am Impulsive on cockatrice, I am never on though since the interface reminds me of a shittier MTGO interface. I should switch over, but too lazy/stubborn to.
In either case, if you want to test, more than happy to help, I'll just be playing my Esper.
Edit:
Also, fuck Conley's list, I don't know how the hell Wafo Tapo did it.

If you really like that style of deck, you could check out pauper. Pauper is a commons only format that is a good introduction to magic and GW hexproof dudes + enchantments will be pretty competitive with the other decks you encounter.
You can check out a couple GW enchantment lists here to get an idea of some stuff you could try.

Stuff like ancestral mask can be a bit pricey if you are just starting out, but there are a ton of low mana cost enchantments that you can try instead.

Truefire Paladin is possibly the best nonrare card in the set, at least best Boros nonrare.
On the other hand, staying open seems way more important than usual in this format, so I can respect the spectacle.

You sound like a person who could enjoy playing Bant Hexproof deck.

Spectacle, not even close. None of the others are bomb level and very well be just a 2 drop.

my original deck that i theorized and wanted to play was a variation of Melissa Detoro's Wolfrun Bant deck, but I decided against spending so much money building a deck, especially with a new xpac coming in a couple months.
I have only just started to play, and atm am just running whatever cards I get from my boosters/the couple drafts that I tried.

Building a low curve aggro deck is a cheap, easy way to do this. Much to my frustration, it's actually easier to actually play with than a cheap mill deck, because it's something along the lines of fucking impossible to get your hands on uncommons on short notice.
Although, part of that may revolve around the fact that roughly half of my local shop is running Phantasms and Spirals.
I shit you not, it's easier to find Jace, Memory Adept.
