I love all the trolls putting in their two cents on all mmo's being the same and wow this wow that blah blah. It's a good thing all FPS and RTS games are completely different in every way and with every game there comes a new genre. Seriously though, Rift has done an amazing job so far with patches updates - and overall content. Never a dull moment, anything that you enjoy doing in a mmo is rewarded equally with EXP and ITEMS. none of this grinding/questing/raiding JUST because you need gear to PvP. Same goes for the carebears, they can get planar items instead of pvp items and be smitten. Im currently a 35 rogue (bard role, marksman role, sabo role) on the DayBlind server rolling with the "pvp" guild Faith. Not incredibly impressed by them so always looking out for strong guilds. Where are you dayblind pvp TLers calling home? | ||

There is a difference between adopting proven concepts of a genre and trying to copy every aspect of World of Warcraft because it is the biggest player in the game. RIFT is trying very very hard to be "like WoW, only better" (I mean come on, we are not in azeroth anymore? srsly?) which is not compelling to a lot of (ex)WoW players because they are tired of wow and do not want to play another game which is almost the same. Casually Hardcore guild, they seem to be geared more towards PvE but they PvP aswell, im just playing to chill so I dont mind anything atm. They got a couple of 50's and most members are in their 30's and 40's.(lvls) | ||

We also killed the first 2 20 man raid bosses. It was either a world 3rd or 2nd kill on the first boss, which you can see a video of here: The second boss of the instance was a world first by us, and there have yet to be another kill. In any case, Reclaimer is a great server if anyone's thinking of starting up. I highly recommend this game for anyone bored with the same old level/grind/grind some more MMOs. You get a better deal by investing your time in RIFT. | ||
