But it's also the only thing I've been doing the past week so I'm pretty used to it. I've seen countless thieves (both on my team and not) spamming hs even after the person is downed. Also to the other poster about defensive builds being the best. It depends on your play style honestly. I hate bunkering up as any class. It's boring as fuck to me and you really can't do shit. I love taking down bunker warriors with my ele or getting them to call three allies to help them. That part is not such a bad idea depending which class you downed. HS spam to downed deals a heckton of damage and it's way faster to HS spam a downed thief to dead than try to stomp him and have to play his "heeehee I teleported just before you stomped me, oh this time I'm invisible". If it was something like a downed ele tho, yea that's stupid, just stomp that thing, it has nothing in downed abilities that can delay you, mistform cd is so long you stomped him twice before it's up. Super defensive builds aren't invulnerable, but you need to know what you are doing with your build to kill them. Obviously if you have some sort of bleed spec that has very little else conditions to throw up there, you are gonna lose to someone who passively removes conditions every now and then as your main damage is passively removed. HS isn't by far the only build thieves can go for and still beat others thieves handily. Venom share, death blossom, pistol whip, heck even backstab builds or a troll shortbow build can beat them.

I've heard of something about trolls in frostgorge sound but I have no idea where in the zone it is and can't find it by Googling. someone addressed this literally 1 page ago. Fruit you gather in Orr. Uses level 400 cooking to make omnomberry bars. Gives something like 40% magic find and increased gold from monsters.

Something happened when I hit 46 and it got even more fun to play. I think cause I finally figured out the traits I want to go for. So I was thinking to go with power. Right now specced into Duelist discipline so basically a Condition specced Mesmer applying bleeds. I am mainly using GS+Sword/Pistol I think for PvE purposes the staff is a a better choice over Sword/Pistol I did Cadecus SM at 41 just like on my Elementalist and went in with a PuG and the first run was terrible took to long might have been the other Mesmer wasn't doing to hot I don't know. The second and subsequent runs where so much faster I switched to staff but we also dropped the other Mesmer and picked up like 2 different people for runs and they both went well. Farmed it for a little while on story wasn't to hard. How is the Explorable is it also easy? For WvW the conditions from Mesmer allowed me to melt face I was thinking of joining another WvW specific guild on Ehmry Bay not sure which one though but I think LGN and GH are the biggest on Ehrmy. Our Server has gotten pretty orginized now in WvW and now that its Week long matches its much better and you can invest in Upgrades. Now you don't have to walk all the way from spawn because people have bought way point upgrades for castles and keeps. Which is important for reinforcements.

edit: If you do the explorable at their suggested level with a group of 5 all that level, It could be pretty hard.

It's absolutely amazing how many matches have just 1 side completely dominating! I mean like nearly 100% capped all the territory. The rankings next week are gonna fluctuate a fair bit I think. The closest match I've seen was between us (Eredon Terrace) vs HoD vs JQ. Now we're seeded 4th and stomping 2 servers in the 2nd tier lol. This system seems broken and its a design issue I believe. Not sure how their gonna fix it.

Not sure how their gonna fix it. Theres no way to fix it. Some servers are better than others. The fact that it's going to be a week long battle just means it's gonna get worse. Best server is gonna get the lead and just expand on it while the other two eventually fall into obscurity. And I have to agree with what you said about the closest matchup we've had. But close doesn't mean we win, just that we don't get stomped as hard as we stomp others lol.

im lvl 80 and grinding for items doesn't feel rewarding enough, rares don't drop nearly enough and the market seems too competitive with too high of a fee to make money reasonably. maybe if i already had a shitload of gold and all this stupid anti farm coding pisses me off really bad.. *takes a break* i'd probably enjoy pvp if i had a competitive team to play with but i don't see that happening

Worth the purchase, I just don't think it has a super long amount of longevity compared to a game like WoW. I played that game for 6 years (I haven't played it in two), and I think I see myself playing GW2 on and off, like GW1, for a couple years. The biggest issue I had with the game is that the dungeons are a joke, because the bosses aren't fun. They're mostly generic tank and spanks and don't feature many unique mechanics in comparison to even WoW's basic 5-man content. WvW, on the other hand, is a BLAST. My computer just sucks at running it, so it feels like until I upgrade my computer there isn't much to do except try jumping puzzles over and over with friends.

You don't need to defend the game if you are having fun that's great I just don't feel like I have readily attainable goals that are worth pursuing which is generally what im looking for when I play MMOs. I suggest you sPvP and tPvP.. I've been having so much fun with it lately. You get to try and craft or find cool looking gear and the gear you find is all balanced so no one can have the upper hand just because they play more.. Only experience
