Also rangers and necros are particularly good against teams that stack toughness. Condition damage absolutely destroys toughness stackers. Too bad when yuou actually tell them they're playing ez mode classes they just come back with the standard "umad" "ubad" trash. Much like warriors that spam hb except those are usually not so bad to kill unless you get caught. Mesmers is an easy class now ? Look I understand your frustration but that's the hardest class to play. ^ Agreed. To suggest anything is an "easy" class most likely means you are not seeing it played to maximum potential. Game is brand new, give it time to really flesh out the min/max potential. Is there any difference in that regard between what he's doing and what you both are doing by suggesting it's the hardest class to play? lol Was agreeing with understanding someones frustration, but to suggest any class is straight ezmode is just straight uninformed bias. Plus dueling (aka 1v1) and groupcomp are two totally diff discussions.
Isn't the idea of thieves to be able to pick someone off 1v1? How does that factor in?

Thieves are pretty average 1v1 actually. They win against Ele, Warriors, somewhat Necro and other thieves. Mesmers, Guardians, Engi and Rangers will often kick your ass if you don't have Thieves Guild up. ( talking about similar level good players )
Their goal is mobility, roaming. Coming to help win fights were it was 1v1 or 2v2 because they can be there fast.

So why aren't dyes shared account wide?

Was a what the fuck moment for me when I realised that, and the fact that unlocked bag slots aren't account wide either.

wow, bags not either? at least bank slots must be... how many new bank slots do you get by buying it?
dyes not shared sucks big times... makes me almost want to have sold them, but i like switching the colors sometimes so it doesn't really matter to me, at least i'll have some gold to farm in the end. i could probably have made 1-2 gold alone by unid dyes by now.

So if I'm a 400 Huntsman/Leatherworker there is really no point in buying the awful stat karma gear, saving money for months to get cultural armor, or throwing away money and taking risks in the Mystic Forge?
I can make lvl80 exotic's with max stats for seemingly less work and money, and do it right now..
So literally all of the work grinding instances, farming gold, and throwing your time and money into the forge is for aesthetics? Can I really have the best stats in the game by the end of today crafting shit?

I keep encountering mixed answers for this...does anybody know?
Which zones have Ori nodes and how many in that zone?

I can confirm 5 in Cursed Shore, 5 in Malachor's Leap, and know they exist in the lvl80 Norn zone with the instance in it, but I've never bothered going there for a daily haul.

Yes. You can get the best stats in the game with crafting. This is intended and the rest of the stuff is purely cosmetic.

so i mostly sPVP when I play guild wars but decided to give some PVE a shot.
I like the leveling structure pretty neat and keeps you going. However, 30 came, I tried to do the first dungeon with a friend.. wow what a mistake.
I was unsure how removing the holy trinity would work out but I was hopeful it could be cool, but it's not. I'm not sure if the groups I tried to go with were terrible, our builds were terrible or what was going on but it was a clusterfuck or retarded.
It's all dodge. Dodge the big swing, stay out of the circles, dodge, dodge, dodge. Also mega spike damage if you don't dodge something. It's basically a zergfest of people dying allover spamming to rez everyone. It was so unfun and uninteresting I don't think I'll be back. I applaud them for trying something new but this shit is just so bad it's not worth playing.
I'll stick to PVP if I want to GW2. PvE is no go.

Yes, leveling is pretty fun in this game. Only WoW had me interested in leveling as much (also because it was my first MMO, but somehow it still felt fun to me at Wotlk) and particularly Rift, which was pretty nice as well in that aspect. Loved the events there (if you don't know them yet they're good).
On the other hand i couldn't keep playing SWTOR till max level. Not so fun imo, the whole world felt empty in the end. Too big spaces and many instances.

hey i dont know what other peoples opinions on the dungeons are but so far i think they are pretty damn good they seem well made and you need to actually understand what you are doing and control yourself skillfully/make good decisions to beat them
requires more skillful play than WoW
