requires more skillful play than WoW I was so happy when my PUG kept wiping over and over in AC
Then I continued on to some of the later ones and they were all pretty easy. (didn't do all yet though) AC is friggin good though.

requires more skillful play than WoW Umm not really. At least not the old version of wow. The dungeons are good, and well designed, the only critizsm i have is the difficulty, it would be nice for there to be just one dungeon with a hard difficulty. Most of the fights are one mechanic, dodge some boss animation, remove some condtion the boss spamms and deal with adds. Be nice if the bosses had multiple mechanics and were just genrally harder for at least one of the dungeons.

Please tell me it was the explorer version of AC that you were wiping over and over. The story mode isn't difficult.

The story mode of AC is actually a little tought or at least it seemed to me. The mobs and 1 of the bosses are not a cake wake ill say that much. It sure was a surprise to me how much i wiped with my group. Especially being the 1st dungeon. The 2nd one that is shorter seems way to easy imo the story at least

But I might have to go back and try it again. It might have been the PUG too.
Our tank-guardian didn't wear pants during the run.

Trading Post is probably the best, but it's boring as fuck.
|
trading post it is here goes
i once upon a time broke the kingdom of loathing economy i actually kind of enjoy doing this so lets see how tough it is to play lol
|
turns out i don't like playing pvp with random people they are retarded about the most basic stuff lol
|
Is the necromancer good? This class seems interesting but i rarely see this class at all?(broken or UP?) I seen tons of Warriors and Thiefs though.
Thinking of trying out new prof after playing my engi.

My problem with dungeons: I play a thief, atm playing melee is SUICIDE on my thief. (yes i play glass cannon).
I dont want defensive stats tho... or else I would have rolled guardian or even Warrior... idk i like going pure damage on thf class, just feels right.
Wish they went back to holy trinity and aggro made more sense. No real problem with difficulties or finishing most of em, tho some are a LOT harder than others. (for instance you can farm 100 CoF badges in an hour on the 2nd EM path)
PVP: Dont really care for Spvp as I think it rewards SUPER tank builds. And i dont think most damage builds are viable in most cases. Currently whoever goes in with more tanky players wins IMO. (purely my opinion). When i play my guardian/necro this is fine... but heartseeker spam gets annoying on my thf...but if i dont play heartseeker spam build i get insta-killed by enemy thf's.
Also sidenote: How to make money- farm trolls North of Yaks Bend waypoint in Frostgorge Sound. The trolls drop good loot, drop lots of potent/powerful blood. Your best bet is to grab some MF gear/food and kill trolls for an hour... leave and come back tomorrow or the next day as you get diminishing returns on drops and will eventually fall to 0 droprate.
Also dont sell your potents...convert them into powerfuls. You are guarenteed to break even, and can double your money with a lucky proc.
Also: I personally prefer gambling with the mystic forge...or as i call it... the magic fountain. Got a dusk out of it yesterday. *tho it took me about 30g of investing into it and my friend has spent like 50g so far with little to no luck at the magic fountain.
Another farming spot: Cursed shore. The events on either side of the spider tunnel. There are 2 camps back to back that are constantly being atrtacked and spawn a shitload of lvl 83 mobs..easy kills/tags and TONS of loot. Also an escort and another defend event that are CLOSE by and worth doing for drops/money/karma.
also... wts dusk lol.
And... ya what server is everyone on?

necro has problems with power builds. The dagger(melee power weapon) has a useless ranged channel lifedrain instead of some burst ability and the axe (midrange power) has a slow autoattack and a low damage channel (does less damage than dagger lifeleech).
I dont have the link, but today a developer admitted this problem in the official forums, so it will likely be fixed along with the DOZENDS of bugs. necro has a LOT of bugs.
The condition builds are fine however, the class has abilities to not only spam a lot of conditions, but also convert enemy buffs into conditions, draw conditions from allies to yourself or put your conditions ontop of an enemy. Oh and you can clone all conditions of one enemy to all others. This is all very powerful and no other class has this.
Also, pet AI is TERRIBLE and nothing like the ranger pets. They just attack randomly or not at all!
So: pets not working, power builds being weak...this makes a lot of people quit the class, not everyone appreciates conditions, especially when you level and the thief/warrior/guardian next to you just two-shot the mob while you must bleed them out :D

The people who play them, yes. I agree, pugging spvp is fucking terrible. But it's also the only thing I've been doing the past week so I'm pretty used to it. I've seen countless thieves (both on my team and not) spamming hs even after the person is downed. Also to the other poster about defensive builds being the best. It depends on your play style honestly. I hate bunkering up as any class. It's boring as fuck to me and you really can't do shit. I love taking down bunker warriors with my ele or getting them to call three allies to help them.

with all spvp matches being defend the node games... this is not a bad thing... they cant die and just buy plenty of time and wait for help to arrive.
but again just opinion.

You go through Malchor's Leap(?).
in the South west corner of that zone there is a portal that lets you into cursed shore.

Thanks for the comments. Just checked the official forums.
Necromancer seems to have a tons of problems and bugs and also limitation on builds. The only real viable build people are saying is the condition builds.
Hope they can fixed it as soon as possible. So i can tried it out.

Swim across the Straits of Devastation and if you don't know where that is, it's south of Sparkfly, which is south of Bloodtide, which is south of LA lol.
