Basically, ANet aren't fucking around when it comes to people making the game less playable/enjoyable for others. Karma weapon drama I knew about and fully support ANet. You're comparing exploiting a known bug/glitch with revealing information about the enemy. I'd say the only reason ANet could ban someone for spying would be that they are taking away a spot for someone else to contribute in WvW. But if that person who is spying is also actively helping w/e realm they are on then idk if they could do anything about it.

PvE is whatever, the fact they put in a anti bot code which harms everyone is really annoying (no surprise though, since they've "punished" their whole player base several times to stop exploiters / hackers). There literally is nothing to do other than listen to arena net fanboys tell you how wrong you are for not enjoying an aspect of a game. I've started exploring more though, dungeons are boring imo but I should really start doing those as well I guess Community is, urgh. 0/10 really passive aggressive pretentious types where everyone has a last name made up of two words relating to what their character does sPvP is really fun with friends though, I enjoy that part of the game a lot. I'd say my only gripe though is how people go invulnerable at the surface of the water. Mesmers annoying but w/e just need to get better and learn their skills npnpnp Overall, really fun game because of sPvP. i hope that lasts

I just play WvW with my guild on my level 80 as needed, and get the random improvements from there. I'm not concerned with my gear for WvW, and for sPvP obviously my gear doesn't matter at all there. At the moment, I wouldn't find it rewarding to farm stuff strictly for PvE. WvW and sPvP is where its at, which to fully enjoy requires teamwork and communication. Some servers advertise their public Vent/TS/Mumble during WvW, so look out for that. Otherwise, there are always PvP guilds recruiting, so just tell one of them you're interested. It'll make it much easier to work as a team. Yea I'm already in a guild and part of AA. Just haven't WvW much since that last match against HoD. Been working on my exotic set (just about done) and i'll prob get back into it. Dungeons really are a borefest. Few more runs and im done for good with CoF. Just getting like 3 of the pieces, and i'll craft the rest. Hopefully theres someone to fight come the weekend. Looks like SoS and the other server fight back a bit at our prime but it doesn't last long. I can totally see ppl switching servers just to get a more balanced match.

I gonna say they are weak as hell and arguably the weakest profession in the game. 1.No Multiple Viable Build The only real " viable " build is the conditionmancer.Even so, this build still pales in comparison to the other profs. 2. Signets are bugged Sometimes signets don’t do what they are supposed to do, only remove half the boons, or none at all. 3.Tons of useless traits and spells 4.The core spell(fear) of the necro is weakest in the game.I mean 1 sec????really?????Even thief got their 3 sec fear skill... 5. Base damage on our weapons is so ridiculously low. 6.Scaling on our condition damage is broken and duration traits(TONS OF THEM) on our Dots are broken. 7.Jagged horrors are a joke.Died in seconds without doing anything. 8. Last but not least,Minion A.I are just horrendous.Attacking random targets, sometimes not attacking at all. Most of them are dieing way to quickly too.We have no control over them like rangers have control over their pets.Seriously???? Is ArenaNet gonna fix this profession or not?

That's why I run a power/crit build and rely on deathshroud a lot. Life Transfer just does stupid amounts of dmg. For PvP i havent really found a weapon combo that I like though. Staff auto's are unreliable and slow, marks hard to place and easy to avoid if the enemy is ranged. All the other weapons have shitty range. I might end up going scepter/horn and condition damage. Will have to play some sPVP and test it all out which I haven't really done since beta.

Every direction the patches have been taking the game have been wrong imo. I can understand that they want to "break up MMO norms" by removing farming and grinding, yet they have coupled this with massively increased prices on gears? Seriously not cool. Anet wants me to run a dungeon over 50 times (fullclearing a path) which takes ages, or 160 times doing it as quickly as possible (still going to take ages), just to get some level 80 armour? Except now it seems like they don't even want people to be running dungeons often? I don't get it. Or they remove the drop rate for fine crafting items, at the same time they implement an anti farming system. How exactly am i supposed to get these items if i can't even kill mobs for 15minutes at a time without getting 100% trash? I don't get it. At the same time they switch over to one week format on WvW, when clearly there hasn't been enough data gathered. So many mismatches, complete stomps are going on right now. What do they want these people to do in the intrim? Run dungeons? nope. Craft? not unless you buy all your mats. Farm money? i dont think so. sPvP? not in any meaningful way. Sure i can pub stomp, or face potentially terrible people in free to play tournaments that have no real reward. I guess they just want me to join the zerg roaming between DEs? For someone who's supposedly been about options from the start.. this is an interesting way they have been taking the game with patches.

Doing low lvl areas just doesn't feel rewarding at alle when your level is much higher. It's still working quite nicely, just not as brain dead as before and not as stupidly easy to farm. Jon Peters (Game Designer) Hey all, it is my fault the updates to those 3 dungeon chains did not get into to the notes. There is a lot going on right now and as we establish our patch process sometimes things will slip through the cracks. I wanted to shed some light on the dungeon speed clear stuff as well. You should not see any diminished returns unless you. 1) Run the same exact chain over twice in a row 2) Complete multiple dungeons in 30 minutes or less each. We also reduced the rewards of completing story mode, once you have already completed it, because the rewards for story mode were never intended to be a high as they were. At this time, dungeons should one of the most efficient ways to level and get gold, and it is not our intention to make them feel like a grind. This is a very large game, and we have a lot of people playing it in many different ways. Right now we are working hard to make sure there are not any ways for players to circumvent the normal rewards in the game and then we will be able to look at the actual rewards and make sure they require a reasonable amount of investment. Dungeons are meant to be difficult and we will continue to update them to try and reach a point where the time invested to XP/Gold/Tokens is similar for each dungeon. Some right now are just too easy to complete while others may be too hard. Moving forward we will try and post more clear change notes for those dungeons we do fix. Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate your desire to help us keep improving on the game. Jon People are just mad because it's not what want. They are looking for a way to satisfy their inner desire for rewards. It's a clear sign that most of them are just addicted to games without realizing it or accepting it. The journey is sometimes worth more than the goal, sometimes not. It's up tioeveryone to choose if it's worth it and accept it as such. Rules are the same for everyone and not everyone can get shinies despite what most gamers tends to think. The world isn't fair, even video games ones. PS : It's also funnier to see all of these gamers whining for more equity and easier access to shinies when they accept stupid shit in the real world.
