Do they have stuff like FUCKING MAPLESTORY?
What I mean by that is, do some of the cash items give Strength ADVANTAGE (moer powerful, teleport anywhere, gain extra 50% exp, etc) for you character? if its LIKE MAPLESTORY CASH ITEM, I am not playing another cash item fest game
Thank you for your kind answers my friends!
Yes they do have a lot of exp boost, and many other. You buy gems from their store which you can exchange for gold in game, with that you can buy the most powerful items with stats from trade post. There are only some skins which you cannot buy, only earn in game. It's the way they sustain their servers and other expenses.
Thank you but you did not answer my question fully. so gold, i can gain from the game (i am the grind master after all >.>) exp, ...heh lvl cap is a joke for me so far i dont need any cash items
are there any other cash items that makes you powerful? speedy? gain HP? etc...you know what i mean, pretty much make you character have advantage over other players (when PvPing, or PvEing):D thanks again!

For those, in short, no.
good good, i think im still gonna wait till they update cash items,
they will slowly put stuff up that will clearly give advantage over the players who dont buy cash items, its only matter of time, imo, just like what they did in fucking MS T___T

Lolwut? Trollpost if i've ever seen one. What they did is the exact opposite of complacent. What they did is also exactly what they needed to do. Tired of people exploiting and cheating games only to get slapped on the wrist. Drop the ban hammer and it'll stop.

Uh, there we go.
Punishing players for the company's mistakes is fun, right? Why do you punish anyway, if it is not having an effect. How should 'sending a message' severely change most of the players attitudes? Do you think players starting later will all know about it? Oh wait, I forgot, these days, if something is posted somewhere on an internet-forum, it is assumed that everyone knows about it.
I don't think such an opinion would hold out in court, though this insignificant pc-game wouldn't be worth it treating it there.
If they wanted to solve the problem, they would have solved the problem in advance. Why do they design such traps in the first place?

Just ignore him, he is obviously a troll. Just look at his post history.
Yes, look at my post history. Lots of casual comments and lots of reasonable postings.
It's in the TOS of most MMORPGs that if you find an exploit, you have to report it. Abusing it heavily will ALWAYS get you banned. Arenanet is just being VERY fast and active in shutting down bullshit, which is awesome.
I don't know if you googled it and simply got on an old outdated result and didn't go further, but I found it in 1min by using their website.
Sooo...
I took a look at them and the rules of conduct. The link I found is part of the ncsoft GW2 rules. Google would have been more accurate, indeed.
I call them both the terms of service, TOS.
I think the TOS are a ticking time-bomb. They stated several times, that they are eligible to change the TOS at any time and however they want.
The prerequisites to apply the ban-hammer appear to be shady and are just a few. What are exploits and cheats? There aren't any cheat codes I suppose, anyway. Exploits is the most interesting term. The definition is not clear. If it is about unintended or unanticipated behavior, how is that even possible? A programmer does exactly that all the time: anticipate. To me, when events are used to gain massive amounts of experience with new tactics, I don't see an exploit, I only see sloppy algebra.
ArenaNet is owned by NCsoft, a South-Korean publisher. Two of the three ex-Blizzard employees, who founded ArenaNet are gone. Mark my words, boys. You might be in for a few nasty surprises.

GW2 is not by the same developers of MS. GW2 is from Arenanet.
Rata Sum is the most intuitively designed of the capital cities I think, followed closely by Divinity's Reach. The Grove isn't very intuitive and Black Citadel is even worse in that regard.

Sounds like you're just trying to cook up a conspiracy theory. This isn't their first game. Many TOS's state they can and most likely will be changed. That's just how the world works. They're not going to magically change it and be able to steal your house. You'll have to re-agree to them. Almost every online game gets TOS changes. You just want to take advantage of oversights because you feel it'll go in your favor. But what if it's in the oppositions favor? I highly doubt you'll be as willing to accept it as "sloppy algebra." Exploits happen, there's no way to code something 100% failproof for an MMO. It's up to the player base to not be jackasses and spread it around like the last one. Have some integrity.

i judge it by how easy it is to find all the points of interest and vistas etc, by that regard black citadel is a huge mess lol.

Yea that's how I was going by it, Black Citadel was definitely the worst of the 5 cities to navigate for them all.
I am soooo glad I waited before buying this. I am sick and tired of ToS bullshit- feels like I am agreeing to a fucking mortgage these days. Not to mention how Blizzard changes their ToS more often than Jay Wilson changes socks. I just don't understand how we're supposed to agree to something ever evolving like that unless we can get a refund at any time with each new edition. Clear abuse of the lack of consumer protection laws.
Reminds me of when Lando Calrissian said "this deal is getting worse all the time". :D
Bit of an overreaction no? Just play like normal people, don't be a douche and don't try ti purposely exploit the game. Never have had any difficulties with any games I had to sign a ToS for. People are just getting a bit too paranoid.

And it's not even monthly sub. Jesus.
This x1000.
You'd think people actually were signing up for a mortgage the way people complain about the TOS in pretty much every game ever. Put down the tinfoil hat and realize that ArenaNet won't ban you if you aren't doing shady shit. The TOS is there to protect them from retarded loopholes where they can be sued by their customers when they get banned for "cheating" in-game. Satan is not sitting at his desk at ArenaNet waiting to ban you for being too good at the game.
I don't understand. People act like Arenanet banning dickbags is some kind of bad thing. When someone says in general "Go suck a dick, gag faggot", or intentionally exploit their ass off, I'm GLAD when they get kicked out of the game. Nobody needs those people. Fuck them.
Well, some of us actually care about liberties. Personally, I hate being around idiots. How about after the ToS, players have to successfully complete the math quest or ban?

you don't need to spend a dime in game. You also won't be at any real disadvantage if you don't.
You can also trade gold for gems ingame through the broker.

Ehrmy Bay is for the TL guild: Raynors Raiders.
I had a blast doing some WvWvW with a few of them, talking in TS and taking over points and destroying caravans and such. Little ambush groups. Good times! Need more dedicated WvW and sPvP players - and get on TS!
Am I supposed to be buying karma gear every time I do a heart, or can I just go with the gear I loot or get from the main storyline?
I just did a quest in the story-line, where the enemy mob had a bronze circle around his name, and he pretty much rocked my shit no matter which build I used and with food consumed until my armor was broken. Finally managed to kite him and let my npc help me kill him..do I just suck or is this game really that hard at level 9?

(I'm Hexemess in guild btw)
so if i join that world it won't let me play with friends on other worlds?
Eventually you will be able to guest over to other worlds. You will only be allowed to WvW on Ehmry Bay, but everything else should be accessible when you are a guest.
