Probably the closest thing the game gets to a healer other than guardian outside of the book ulti. Dat healing rain and water element swap.

Also worried about their security. I used a different email just for my GW2 account and everything but there should still be some sort of authenticator around. Did they miss all the bullshit that happened in D3 because of that? ~_~

Or do you guys think that this game is just going to be another fad MMO that will slowly die? I do not want to invest so much time into a game that is just going to die out quickly. Thanks. I'd say the WvWvW element, a very large continuing development team for updates (committed to their players), and the vast map to explore and play around in will make the game very popular for a long time.

I don't really like how slow the leveling up is, I realize that the later levels will be pretty fast in perspective but I still think that the first levels should go faster .-. I also don't think you get enough equipment from quests... I'm playing as Engineer and the combat at least seems quite fun, though I really need to customize my layout because the last number keys are just completely out of reach for me. I also don't really like how you're completely dependent on the random events for leveling up, as if you don't get them frequently you're forced to clear other starting zones. Not that that's a horrible thing but even so. The main quest line has been pretty good I think, the story hasn't been anything spectacular but it's still surprisingly good, still think that you shouldn't have to level this much in between the chapters because it makes you disconnect from the story so much. Overall I really love the combat and I like the graphics as well. I also like how they're innovating with the quest system somewhat but the early levels still feel quite tedious... I think I actually prefer the way Maple Story deals with the early levels, it's much more fun to grind when you already have more interesting skills.

Mine feels so underpowered compared to the other classes I've tried out. They definitely seem weaker in PVE, but they're just great in PVP. Built right, as good as any other class (if you can avoid hundred blades ![]() In PVE they take so long to kill things it seems. But it's fine. That's my main problem with Mesmer atm. It takes so damn long to kill shit that if a second mob accidentally gets aggro'd, I usually end up getting raped in the face, or I have to run and reset. You could argue a bit of finesse is required, but the knife's edge you have to operate on is just making the class not fun for me. It sucks too, because Mesmer sounded the most interesting to me, was the first class I rolled in this game, and is the one I've put the most time into (I didn't play GW1).

I'd have to agree, I can take on 2-3 mobs at the same time using Staff/Sword+Pistol. Using illusions to daze enemies is good, as is the 2seconds invuln from the Sword(2) skill. Other than that it's just kiting them round, using blink and stuff. I'll agree that the damage doesn't quite seem to be on par with a lot of classes though.

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9400 2.66Ghz Video Card: Geforce GTX 260 Ram: 3GB Windows XP Home Edition 32 Hopefully someone here can explain why it is so bad. Other games I'm able to run at the highest settings but Guild Wars 2 is a bust. I look at the recommended settings and I seem to pass.
