Not found another decent one yet Currently doing the Chaar(char? :S) area. Come to think of it, i think it was my zone the Asura area with the good vista tree XD
There's an awesome vista in the char 15-25 zone, co-incidentally it's also a jump puzzle. As well as one you have to get launched out a catapult to reach. All in all that char zone is boss.
Oh i almost forgot there is one of the most stunning (at least to me) vista's there, above the underwater mini dungeon.

Dynamic Events are far from rare, there are more of them per zone than there are hearts.

EXP in GW2: Hearts Dynamic Events Personal Story Resurrecting Players while doing anything Killing stuff Exploring Gathering Crafting Dungeons (not your level yet but still) PVP and the Daily Achievements which give a TON of bonus EXP (and items) for killings different mobs/gathering/etc. (which you already got exp for in the first place)

I hated Morrowind/Oblvion/Skyrim, they are beyond boring for me. You're not zerging down 20 mobs to get loot... You're saving the town and it's residents (aka vendors) from being taken over by enemy and securing the use of that town and vendors for a period of time. Seems natural to me that a large group of people may wish to defend the town. Your mindset is why you don't enjoy this game. Seems like you may like WoW because they give you set goals to work at and you're told what to do, versus a game like this or RPGs where you do whatever you feel.
Have you actually played these low level events? They don't feel treatening, thats the problem. They are just circles on my minimap were i (and 10++ others) get free loot for mindlessly hopping around and spamming my spells against something that is called "dangerous" while being terribly outgunned and outnumbered. It is harder to "grind" normal mobs than doing this events which is clearly not "right".
If they would actually be "hard" (well not really in the newb zone, but at least not being totally brain afk easy) this would eventually be a diffrent story, but from what i experienced they are really just fire and forget.
I love good RPG's.. Sadly there were almost none since BG2, PS:T, nwn motb... They are actually telling a nice story and giving you a good amount of freedom. GW's question, till now, just seems really sub standard compared to SWTOR or TSW. The events are a nice idea but at least their implemention in the starting zones is just cheap and boring.
Btw: I'm coming off way too negative, it's still a decent game. I just don't see what all the hype is about.

Keep playing beyond the first 20 levels. Those are just an introduction.

Fair enough, the first level zones got nerfed difficulty wise back in BWE3. However some of them seem to have been hit harder than others, the char zone still has a shaman that rocks everyone and the norn zone has a jumping puzzle that i've seen multiple die to the final guardians on. Later levels things get more challenging, for example the mini underwater dungeon i mentioned earlier was a complete wipe the first time i tried it with ~10 other people.

The Fire Elemental boss fight dynamic event in the Metricia Province is pretty hard. Too hard, in fact. It literally one-shots most characters, and I definitely got one-shot when I decided to pop my head in for a visit around level 20, though my level was downscaled in the area. That entire boss fight needs tuning. The giant worm thing in Caledong Forest was much easier.
And until a few days ago, I didn't know that Morgan's Spiral in Caledon Forest was a jumping puzzle. Back in BWE3, I thought it was just nice scenery. When the game finally released, I revisited the area, and was like "hey, this would look like a nice jumping puzzle." Lo and behold, it was a jumping puzzle, and it took several tries and a few deaths before I was able to finish it and get the nice secret chest at the end

Sure there are more dynamic events total than heart quests, but heart quests are always available where as dynamic events are not. I'm not surprised at all if I go through 3 heart quest without running into even one dynamic event in that area.

Overall I'm really enjoying the game. However... some negatives:
* I can't get myself interested in the story and I've been spoiled by the great voice acting of SWTOR so listening to GW's attempt is laughable.
* Early level dynamic events are too easy due to the huge amount of people engaging in it with you. It really detracts from the fun. And because the DEs are so easy to successfully compete, I rarely ever get to see its world-changing effects, so essentially DEs have no world-changing effects that you ever get to experience (at least in these lower levels).
* WvWvW has only 1 waypoint per zone. Every time you die you start back from the exact same point and there are no speed boost NPCs at the waypoints or anything. Your only option to return to defend/attack an area quickly is to swap weapons/skills for one that has a temporary speed boost, or stay near someone who can grant everyone swiftness (even then, the effects are very temporary). The biggest reason I end up stopping playing WvWvW is because I get tired of taking 5 minutes after every death to walk back to where I was.
I gotta say though, this is the first MMO where I really am unconcerned with my level and trying to get to max as quick as possible. I am loving the sense of exploration - it is greatly incentivized by finding all the points of interest, the puzzles to get the vistas, the skill points, and the DEs that show up wherever you go - and the fact that getting 100% zone completions gives you a tangible reward rather than a mere achievement. I don't play just thinking about PvE or PvP, I play doing a mix of everything from exploration, crafting, questing hearts, DEs, and PvP. It's a great variety.

From what I hear the Fire Elemental is by far the hardest of the early events because of the way people just get crushed doing it lol. Only done Behemoth myself and that was pretty fun even if it wasn't too challenging.
You went on and did the puzzle at Morgan's Spiral through dreamdark enclave right? I loved that when I did it in beta 3.
I did the shattered observatory in kessex hills last night and that was fun, especially guiding an engi up the last bit and then dropping down to fight the veteran troll together to get the chest.

I was for a long time interested in Guild Wars (the original game) as I never got the chance to start at the beginning. Now that GW2 is out and there is HoM system, I have an incentive to buy it and play it. Which I did. \o/ It's a great game by the way and if anyone is interested in partnering with me for the whole game, msg me on TL.
Now I wanted to now if the bonuses are retroactive : For example, my GW character (Alice) now have around 7 points in the HoM so I get a few perks when making a new character in GW2 (Bob). After a while I miss Alice and play with her until I get 15 points. In this scenario would Bob get the new prizes or not ?

Bob will always get the new prices when you finish a new HoM with Alice. (Source: Their FAQ on guildwars2.com)
