Though I've never played GW1, so correct me if I'm wrong, I just love the feeling of being out in the world and having gigantic day-long battles (I miss you Tarren Mill vs Southshore D ![]()

World pvp will consist of 3 servers or worlds in a constant FFA struggle over their own keeps and the enemies keeps in a non instanced, unbalanced, massive zone. Think DAoCs RvR system but the servers rotate every two weeks as opposed to daoc where the opposition is always the same (enemy realms of x servers). Details haven't been announced, but judging from interviews the world pvp will be a very important part of the game.

Of the most overused and misunderstood two words for gamers, leader and leadership are often the most confusing, simply because many people are thrust into roles in gaming without a clear definition of where they fit in the big scheme of the game. This is especially true when being part of a guild or clan in gaming, where tens to hundreds of players are interacting with each other through developer content in the guild setting. Thousands are interacting on any one server, and millions are playing the game for years. Each moment of this playtime a leader emerges whether it is expected of them or not. Guild Leadership; An In-Depth Look at Leadership in MMOs | Team Legacy This time we bring you an article about the art of leadership. Join us in pondering the true definition of leadership; learn about all the various types of leadership, read about its translation to gaming and especially important, how to follow effectively. It does not matter if you are an aspiring leader, an experienced one, or if you never wanted to be a leader in the first place; I guarantee what you are going to read will influence you in a positive way and quite possibly enhance your gaming experience. This article has been written by Orz - our very own leadership expert. Everything from class design , world pvp , dynamic events etc etc has so much detail and thought behind it. Tbh it looks like the the most complex mmorpg since daoc .

Imo it sounds like the game that Warhammer Online was supposed to be (successor to DAOC). (Plus all the awesome bits of Guild Wars as well)

It's all I did in guildwars 1, I had like 30 days on my pve monk and about 20 days on my pvp one (high level, top 200 gvg and winning hoh.) So glad mesmer is back too loved interrupting and blacking out people in gvg. Interrupting 1/4 spells made my day :D. So Yeh if wanna heal is there anything we can do? from what i read (which could be VERY out dated) you still have a tank/healer/dps ish type roles it's just any class can take on that role when needed. For example a ranger can become a healerish type with certain skill choices or a mage can become tankier with certain spells, and while they may not be as good as a pure role they are more than sufficient if your group is good enough so that way any group of friends can play with each other regardless of the pigeonholed class type they rolled initially. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Correct me if I'm wrong! Not necessarily The devs said they have their own "trinity", DPS/Support/Control. They are basing their combat off of moba-esque games.

Really good interview with all those guys. They all seem like they really care and really want the game to succeed. Which is awesome. Made me more hyped for the game.
