Does anyone know if all the skills are final for each class? Also i'm interested to see how they are going to balance the PvP side of things, hopefully they get it nearly spot on, and dont do a WoW (Patch every single week to fix something that doesnt need fixing). Mesmer looks amazing! | ||

Long story short: the only way to trade items with another player in Guild Wars 2 is either through mail or the auction house. There is no way to just click "trade" with a player you're standing right next to. However, I have heard that you can mail people things from anywhere, and receive mail anywhere at any time, and mail is sent instantaneously. So that could make up for this? Thoughts? | ||

If mail is instant and you can mail from anywhere then there is no problem. I assume GMs will step in a stop scammers (IE chat logs clearly show that you intended to trade). | ||

Just an update to everyone who has been out of the loop. We've completely redesigned the Team Legacy website to focus more on the PvP discussion and guides rather than just the guild. Cut back to the OP. We founded this TL-based guild a long time ago, with the help of many staff mods, coders, and design artists from Team Liquid, along with the other founding community members. Along the way we picked up a lot of competitive like-minded members from around the web as well. We introduced them to Team Liquid as fast as we did our own "Team Legacy" site and they were impressed to say the least. I still find it hard to believe that so many new faces have never even heard of TL, or even seen a proper E-Sports scene. It's my personal mission to change that as well as bring the better Liquid community members on. Granted not everyone in TL is a role model, but since the beginning we focused on grabbing the best of the best for the guild. Interviews with SC2 progamers, publications in the mass media, and many interviews with ourselves further, we've made quite a name, a respected one at that. We've discussed and started working out affiliate/sponsor plans with a few notable gaming brands, as to initiate the relationships needed to put forth a true competitive 5-man team consisting of our best players. To be honest, the market for sponsorships, especially those that are based on a game not even released yet, are harsh. It's the foundations and guidelines set forth by the companies that matter, and we're well on our way. We're careful not to get ahead of ourselves, but we definitely have the support structure to start finishing products that were simply ideas over a year ago. If you are a community member of Team Liquid and still wish to join the guild, you will find the recruitment forum moved to the general "Guild Recruitment" forum. It's important to note that beta is less than 2 months away, and we have to start closing the doors to our comrades here at TL and abroad as to prevent a zerg-fest. If you've put if off awhile, consider throwing an app in now. The guild is far more of a melting pot than it was when we started with just Team Liquid members, so keep that in mind. But if you have the drive to do something great in GW2, we hope you can join your fellow idra worshippers and terran haters. You can even help us convert the noobs to becoming full fledged Team Liquid fans <3 Over a year ago, this thread was simply an idea from my wife and I who both love watching Day9 and chatting with other TLers.
