So my thoughts about the archer:
Very fun class, very mobile but I feel like no invincible dodges hurt me alot (especially in pvp, pve dodges are easy once you learn boss patterns). 7 second dodge (5 seconds with glyph) and 20 second doge (15 seconds with glyph) imo is just not enough

Radiant Arrow and Piercing arrow seems to be my bread and butter skill, i have a glyph that adds 25% more damage to Piercing but in a PvP situation I've never seen a guy not dodge my piercing unless he was really bad or really distracted. Radiant on the otherhand is a bit harder to dodge for enemies as it requires only 2 quick charges for full attack, but the ending animation just totally fucking sucks. I can chain a salvo at the end, but then salvo ending animation also fucking sucks lol.
Also movement speed glyphs are a fucking must for PvP
Close quarters help me make a bit of room and does decent damage, but the 2nd animation for close quarters is the stun and in most melee situations people dodge the 2nd attack and no stun is made, which means i have to blow another dodge and if they're on cooldown well then im fucked lol. If I get knocked down though I can use retaliate but the retaliate stun seems to not be a 100% chance but rather a random thing
About traps:
I think traps are fucking amazing in this game. Incendiary trap hits almost as hard as my piercing/radiant arrow which is something I'm so glad for. Slow trap lasts too damn short but can help me pop another arrow and then there is stun trap. I think I only managed to get stun trap off once in a pvp situation.
Compared to the WoW traps, these are much more powerful, however unlike the WoW Hunter traps you have a bit of a delay until these pop (aka no instant freeze trap like in wow). So even if I pull a stun off them THEN spend another 3 seconds to plant a stun trap, most of the time it won't pop and they will just roll over it or just run over it. Also nobody walks over traps in this game lol (can you guys see it?)
Archer: Ranged class or a Ranged melee class?
Incase you guys who never played archer (or even sorcerer) didnt know, if you shoot your skills OVER a certain range you will do drastically lower damage (sometimes even as low as half). Max range on most skills are 18 or 19 meters btw. Although technically this should be the case in an action MMO there are times I have to actually drag my archer closer to the battlefront to deal 'normal' damage (closer than I would ever like to be). I found that the sweet spot to be around 10 meters apart, but lets be honest a melee class will shorten that distance in a second. This wouldn't be such an issue if animation canceling was possible on the archer, but then again I guess that would be overpowered.
I just wish breakaway bolt gave you a small invincibility, if it did all of the things I said in this post wouldn't be an issue
Great things about the Archer
if you can pull your combo off and there isn't another enemy healer around (also if the enemy isn't a lancer), you can literally put someone to half health within 5 seconds without any crit. This class if for people who love big numbers.
Playing the archer did not remind me of a wow hunter, but more of a Vanilla WoW ele shaman, two big nukes and an instant cast that deals unreasonable damage when hit lol. The Archer isn't as dependent as the old but forgotten trinket mage, but it is a bit hard to do anything if all your arrows and traps are on cooldown.
The ability to cast piercing arrow/radiant arrow while moving (50% movespeed without glyphs) is something I think even sorcerers will envy. Once you glyph these you can technically kite an enemy player as long as you remember if they blew their dodge/roll or not. Because once you know they blew their invincibility shit you can have a field day. Not to mention movement speed glyphs not only help in PvP but in PvE for positioning and dodging stupid fireballs that have aoe.
Overall I enjoy this class. Can't do shit in a 1v2 situation and definitely can't do shit in 1v1 against a decent player at this level. Since we are all only lvl 32, taking about class balance is something that shouldn't be done and with two more utility arrows coming to my archer I think my path as an archer will get much brighter
