I would post it here but it is pretty long but I can if you wish. Whether you agree and or disagree, post your feedback because if enough people voice their opinons maybe they might try it. http://tera-forums.enmasse.com/forums/player-vs-player/topics/PvP-sever-idea?page=1#post-61096 I don't think looting would ever work unless they made too many changes, revamping crafting and items specifically. And they aren't going to do major changes to create 1 additional server-type, just not worth it.
And I think TERA PvP system is fine as it is, if the western outlaw system survives the betas that is. I really don't want the debuffs back (at least not the stat debuffs, limited access to some other stuff would be fine), but I also want some risk/reward and not just counterstrike with boobs.

Was this directed towards me? Can you explain further what you mean when "unless the korean client gets it" It's being designed and launched in Korea first and typically with Korean MMOs like this, we get content months after they do. So when changes are made, they happen to the Korean version first and eventually trickle down to us. That said, like MyThRiLL said, we're not getting the exact same version as Korea has so it might be different in this case. A similar example would be WoW in China. Chinese WoW servers get content patches long after NA/EU do. Your idea is interesting, but I have no idea how it would play out. Again going back to WoW, basically every hardcore raiding guild still plays on PvP servers. One ruleset will be considered "the best" and it'll attract all the serious players.
Oh ok, from what I have read. The core mindset of the game is korean, which was created by Bluehole studios. EnMasse has taken control over the "western" project and will change anything it deems western culture MMO players won't like. While Korea will mostly likely get patches first, NA/EU will be getting everything the koreans get in regards to content (dungeons, battlegrounds/bosses) but the rules of the content will be made to fit our culture of gaming. Bluestudios has nothing to do with what happens with NA/EU rules, it is the parent company that will create all the content. EnMasse is the kid company that will take all the content and make it acceptable to us (the westerns). So, my conclusion is we can give feedback and they will listen if there is a loud enough voice because EnMasse wants this game to be success outside of Korea. They have actually stated that they are asking for the players to give as much feedback as possible on the PvP situation because they want it to be the best possible.

I got no idea about En Masse, but Frogster doesn't make big gameplay changes at least, they only decide what the western community wants then relays that to Bluehole and it's up to them to add it. I would assume they're under the same deal though.

NA and EU are two different things, run by two different companies.
You're going to need the EU client and an EU account.

I am really interested in playing Tera casually -- sorry I haven't stayed up to date on all the information out there. I will be moving to Korea soon as well. Will it be possible to obtain a Korean version of this game or will I have to play on NA? Are you restricted to the region you live in? My idea is that I can use this game to help myself learn Korean and have fun at the same time.
How easy is the game to play if you could not understand much of the text? Is it possible? I ask this because I used to play WoW and often I would never read the quests. It was mostly go here and kill X. I also remember one WoW player from Brazil that learned English by playing.
Is it possible to use an English client on the KR server? Thanks for any help anyone can provide. ^^

So I'm playing the EU beta right now and it feels like my fps are fucked up^^ 17 on minimum details, 18 on maximum lol
Checked my drivers, dunno what could be wrong but didn't see anything.
Anyway, despite playing with 20fps at best, this game looks AMAZING. Hands down prettirest MMORPG. I really like the interface and controls, too. Does 20 things for which you needed Addons in WoW straight out of the box. Might become my new MMORPG (in case I get the performance issues figured out).
Mogulo on Arborea btw.

how u check ur fps in game?

Well I'm done downloading and patching ; 30 minute wait time .... tt
I'm glad though because its popular!

Only on the PvP server, PvE has nice population, is lag free and allows for more peaceful exploration^^
I'm lvl 9 now and I must say it picks up pace, even as a priest. Charging up spells, AoE, jump out of harms way, fire spells, AoE again -> far better than WoW fights. God I hated spamming 1,1,1,1,1...
