Oh man, I played this game a while ago, recently got back into it. Was poking around in the "guilds on server" menus and Liquid had the "apply" button greyed out. You guys still got room? If so, who to message ingame?

Edit: errr, I should jsut apply through the shivtr site? This is new to me

You can apply at the guild website and also ingame let them know your part of the TL community and they will send you a invite

Yea we def are still playing were getting rdy for the new release of the new class of player the reaper and new dungs are coming out at the end of the month join us in Tempest Reach.

I started playing this a little, im a level 21 lancer atm. But i cant help but find it ridiculously boring and i don't know why. I like the combat system but it seems completely pointless because everything can be facetanked. Also the world doesnt seem alive at all to me, i don't find it interesting, the quests are the same and why are there no vendors at camps? thats pretty annoying.

Does it get better?

I recently tried Tera, got to lvl 60, and promptly quit. In my opinion if you're already bored, the game probably isn't for you. People will try to convince you of 2 things:

1. Tera, like any MMO, is meant to be played with friends. While this is true, if you find yourself hating the game solo and suddenly enjoying the game when you play with others, you probably are enjoying the social interaction rather than the game itself.

2. It's a grind to lvl 60 but then it'll get much better. There's certainly more to do in the game after you hit lvl cap, but the core of gameplay still feels the same (slow and boring). The only exception is if you're really into PvP, there's a lot of PvP options and some of them can be engaging.

I say for the most part lvl is the hardest thing to do in game. It gets very boring esp if you were like me and started as a healer. Took me forever to kill stuff. But after you hit 60 there so many thing that you can do. all the endgame dungs, PvP is huge, GvG which is guild vs guild like a mini war against other guilds, plus there are more endgame content coming out in the next couple of weeks with the new reaper class they will be bringing out new 5, and 10 man dungs. Best of luck questing.

Started playing this again. I don't quite understand why people think the leveling process is boring (outside of the fact all MMO's get stale while leveling up). I find the combat system really enjoyable, all the classes i've tried are very unique, the animations and graphics are beautiful...

My biggest issue is that the end game is so limited outside of PvP. They really need to make a strategy for a more compelling end game with proper raids (I know thats not easy with an active combat system). Still, outside of EVE which is a niche game, I think only WoW really compares to TERA for me in terms of MMO's, and i'm just burnt on that. I think it's a really enjoyable game.
