It probably will be only worth bothering if/when BHS will introduce next gear set. If there will be VM3, then it'll be worth it. But I doubt we'll see new gen equip untill late spring, if not more. Maybe we'll get something like mayhem 2.0 though. If I were BHS, I would simply rework KN raid for that. Cheap, easy and it will keep people busy. Now hardly anyone doing KNXX, because even necklace is not that good anymore since they nerfed fire proc on mc/wh bosses.
No if I am to upgrade to pve vm2 I'll do it on my Zerker. pve vm2 healer weapon for pvp is actually PRETTY GOOD, but the cost is simply too high for the benefits.
For my Mystic, I am just gonna wait until they double the KS credits gains then shoot for the pvp vm2.
With charge speed buff coming it would make sense as well since there's additional roll on VM2 compared to wh if I'm not wrong, which could be used for attack speed. Would really love some pve vm2 stuff too, but prices of those marks are really insane right now and I wonder if it'll be lower anytime soon. Sadly have nothing to compare with, vitriols were bams only drop for such a long time so can't really compare marks to them.
P.S. Geared zerker is so much fun to play. Should've geared it earlier... Oh well, better late than never.

It won't change much for PvE after the charge speed changes. It will change for PvP a lot, but I seriously doubt it'll turn Zerkers into a top DPS class on Skyring.
For Warriors and Slayers, attack speed means you can finish your rotation sooner. For example, if a boss only allows you two seconds of free hits between his attack animations, and your attack speed is low, you can't finish your rotation completely and severely hurt your DPS. This is not how Zerkers are played... for Zerkers you just stay far away from the boss until your TS is fully charged then you go in and land a hit. Furthermore, even though the changes will allow you to finish charging a TS/Cyclone faster, you are still limited by their respective cooldowns and for Zerkers, cooldown starts AFTER you use the skill.
Yeah, but I guess it still will help with cyclone at least. Can start charging while staying close to boss. But ofc it will help to slayers the most, they get animation locks just like priests (I think?).
Such a shame that cd reduction does almost nothing to zerkers in pve. Sure it's nice enough for self buffs, but TS got a 3 sec cd already and even with 7secs on cyclone it won't do much.
Yeah, I've done WHNM a couple times and only have done WHHM once and I'm already sick of the instance. It just isn't that fun imo. I absolute hate that stupid tank fight boss, I've done both the teralith battle in the cage and the tank part and both are boring as shit. The whole Bandersntach fight is just kind of boring because the totem phase isn't that enjoyable and neither is the shield phase. I kind of like the light phase, at least it's something interesting.
Everything up to the clown boss which I can't recall his name even is just boring as hell. The clown isn't even enjoyable because it's just a dps burn, spam some AoE when balls come, and burn even harder. zzzzzzzzz
Basically the only thing I like in WH seems to be the light phase on during the final boss.
I'm full steadfast on my toons and everything is already a joke. Let's not even mention I've probably got a good 200 zenith chests total on all my toons and still no marks. -_- I did get a diamond though, so I suppose that's kinda nice.

I admire your dedication. I barely pull off a single CW/SF/KG runs a day now.
I probably should run more though. I still need two Zenith earring for my Mystic.... sigh.
CW/SF/KG is actually pretty good source of money now. Maybe the best one, since WHHM/NM almost never drops BoE stuff and when it does, you still have to roll against others.
They really need to adjust droptables for WH and maybe KN20. Need more BoE drops at WH, so there will be an actual reason to run it when you're done with equip (if you're lucky enough). I don't do lots of WH runs, but so far I didn't even seen a weapon/chest for my class when I did the run and I was outrolled for gloves/boots a few times. That feeling, like you spend about an hour for 0-2 fodder and 0-2 mes is kinda bad. And KN20 need to drop WH equip too now, BoP or BoE, doesn't matter. Atm no one is doing that raid anymore.
Also that fact how easy all new content is doesn't help. I'm still playing when I have some time/in mood for Tera and stuff, but even steadfast feels like too much for all content now. WH gear and VM2 will be just overkill.
Yeah sad part is only my priest has the zenith pieces I want. My zerker has 2 piece so far, but I still need an earring and my sorc only has the necklace. My RNG with zenith jewelry kinda sucks. I do agree with Tj31 though with it being such great money though. At least on my priest every queue is instant, takes about ~30-40 minutes to do all 3 total (much shorter too if the dps is actually good) and most of the time the piece you get from the chests is worth it. I've got a diamond, 10 MES (twice so far) and I think it was 10 masterwork alk as my best prizes so far. But most of the time it's either 1 t14 superior fodder (sells for what 200-300g usually) or 1 MES (another 250-300g) or you get screwed and get an extra Amethyst (30g zzzzz). I actually sold my stack of 250 Amethysts the other day just because, boom, 7500g!
To be honest, I almost have more fun just leveling toons up or doing battlegrounds atm though. I've now got a level 46 archer, although I'm getting a little bored of it, although I heard once you get max level they are really fun with the right glyphs / rain of arrows / throw traps etc etc. Although I just started up a lancer as well and he's already 15. Might just dungeon grind with him because everything I've heard said lancers are always instant queues for matchmaking.
Actually I just sell those boxes. 100 boxes = 50k. I open 3-5 or so every now and then, but so far no luck.
And yay new patch I guess? Gonna take a while for me to do all those achievements (at least for permanent pet and some other stuff) on all of my chars. Sometimes having a lot of alts does hurts. P.S. Using 100 of every bandage type is one evil achievement. 500x20=166 minutes on every char, so 13 hours for me if not count levelup priest on another account. I usually don't do this, but I'll just macro that crap.

If you have no clue what to do at all then the best choice would be creating new level 1 character. You can always back to your warrior later. It probably will be easier to remember the basics that way.
If you're fine with your 34, then just play untill you get to 60. Next instance is just one level away, so you can do some questing/mob killing for 2-5 levels, then do it to find out if you still find Tera fun (leveling/questing never was fun to begin with, but instances are quite fun, esp for the first few times).

That makes sense I suppose. Though I think I'll run around on my warrior before I start something new, at least for a while. I found a lvl 38 orange weapon in my bank, so I think I'm gonna play until 38 at least.

So there's isn't much to play for now atm as well. Just the lack of any other mmo to play makes me to log Tera more or less often and do something. Well, also combat and elins.

And it has way too unique art/style for western gamers. Reminds of Magna Carta (PS2 krpg) a bit. I believe western gamers don't like that style too much, but it did much better in Korea than Tera. It's still P2P and have big enough playerbase. But since it's koreans, it's hard to say. Aion is still p2p there as well and it's doing really good.
Does Archer get better at 60? I'm currently 47 and I'm starting to lose motivation on leveling him. I think the no way to heal yourself and no real good AoE is making it quite dull to level with. I've got a ~15 lancer as well and those first 15 levels were pretty enjoyable so part of me is thinking of ditching the archer and starting up with the lancer...although it's "only" 13 more levels on my archer so it's like...I should just finish him.
I've heard that Rain of Arrows (think that's what it's called) and being able to throw your traps infront of you make it much better which is kind of why I want to get to 60 still. Also, BAM soloing as an archer is fucking cakewalk, which also makes it kind of fun.
It should get nice combo at 60, seen it in pvp often. That "close combat" thing, then stun trap below enemy, backstep, rain of arrows, knockdown with some charging skill w/e it's called and range stun trap. So not fun when you get caught in that. As for pve, I think all they do is using RoA, 2 charing skills and range traps. And some selfbuffs.
Also it's completely normal that you're bored to death leveling another char. It's ok to level 1 character, maybe 1 more a bit later. But then it get's really really boring. Same locations, same mobs, same quests. Very easy and yet time consuming content. Also while it was fun to fight vs some BAMs leveling 1st char, it's very obvious that Tera's battle system balanced around level 60 content/equip/skills/glyphs. Faster attack speed, proper crystals, proper glyphs etc. It feels so much faster.

I feel the problem is that these Asian companies are just throwing money at the game trying to make it better, but some of the developers have not the slightest clue on game design.
TERA suffers too much from self-cannibalization. As soon as they make new contents the old one is obsolete. Sure, I understand that with MMORPG you have to create incentives for players to do newer contents by adding new loot and better gear - that's just how MMORPGs work - but TERA takes it to the extreme. They first REMOVE KNHM fire weapons (which were great in offering players a variety of different gears to play with and a dungeon to run), then they REMOVE ACHM (which I believe is the best dungeon in TERA) and FoK and render KN20 completely worthless, and now this upcoming Kuma's world is essentially going to kill Corsair's. It's almost as if TERA2 is in the making and BHS is trying to force players to quit TERA1 to play the newer game.
TERA actually did a fairly good job for the Argon Queen patch. While MCHM drops Regent's which were the best gear at the time (beside vm), all other dungeons drop VM designs, so there were still some point in running FoKHM and BTHM - so the older contents weren't totally useless. Now the developers are like "YOU HAVE TO RUN WHHM and the 3/5/7 DUNGEONS THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS". It's dumb and force players into a very narrow band of choices.
The 3/5/7 dungeons are really big failures. Why would you even bother creating 3 new (and very bland, I should add) dungeons when TERA got a shitload of good dungeons already available? Why not just make FoK, BT, and AC drop Zenith boxes (hard mode drop 2 per player, normal mode drop 1) and adjust MoB chance from Zenith accordingly? Why not make Zenith jewelries BoP from Zenith boxes only? Why not make KN10/20 drop Zenith boxes? All of a sudden the older end-game dungeons are still worth running and the players can choose what they want to run.
If older end-game dungeons are not your cup of tea, there are also other options. For example, I strongly believe that Salaron's Sky Garden is a VERY GOOD END-GAME DUNGEON. The pre-boss mechanics for SSG is just as intricate as Wonderholme, and the actual boss fight is fairly challenging that requires a reasonable degree of coordination. Furthermore SSG has a very unique tileset in TERA not seen in any other dungeon. If BHS made a SSGHM for level 60s it'd be a great dungeon. But no, they rather spend all their money on these really, really bad 3/5/7 dungeons.
And then there is the issue with WHHM drop tables. I think I whined about it enough times so I'll skip it.
If you have seen TERATODAY's article, there will be a new equalized BG called Kuma's world. I am not exactly sure how it works nor do I really care that much, but that thing is going to utterly destroy Corsair's simply because it only allows solo queue. Currently, Corsair's is very profitable to farm with level60s premade because the queue is really fast and your opponents are really bad - it's filled with pre-60s. These pre-60s are winning very rarely (due to a very rigged equalization mechanic and matchmaking system), but they'd do it anyway because it gives a huge chunk of EXP. When Kuma's world hits, I promise you all pre-60s are going to migrate to Kuma's world because solo-queue only allows better matchmaking when you are pre-60 with no premade teammates - and Corsair's will be dead. Why the hell would a game developer even make such a thing? Why not just make Corsair's solo queue only and fix Fraywind? Why would they spend all these money just to destroy its existing contents?

Do you need to use some sort of special items when enchanting weapons etc? I'm trying to enchant my lvl 38 weapon, but none of the items I try to use works.
