The only problem is that this game is already dead in Korea. I don't really know if it will realistically last any longer than it is, lol.

One of my characters holds the Team Liquid guild name from way back when the game first launched, if there is interest ill download the game and give someone gm. This is on the pvp server.

That's my issue as well. When something like Aion which had korea by the throat completely fails in America I don't see this doing much better.

Im too lazy to check, so I figured I just asked here:
Did Archers get a aoe ability? Aside from the "volley" attack or "piercing" shots. I remember trying to level an Archer and it was always a pain to try kill 20 minions at a time.

You're just gonna have to wait it out, since the game is pretty massive. You can pause the download any time and the patcher will resume from where you left off.

I did too and loved it ;D Sadly, a 15$/mo subscription is a bit steep for me, especially when I rarely have time to game in the first place. Oh MMO's, how I long to play you again.

aion had very specific problems right after launch, cant deduct much from it.
Aions main feature was the abyss where it was faction-based pvp like in dark age of camelot.
But in korea they got a patch that upped the level cap by 5 and NCsoft included that patch into the release version.
Buuut the abyss was only for the old level cap, the new level cap only had pve zones at that time, which made the abyss entirely empty.
So pretty much everyone that came for the faction pvp quit 1 month after release, imbalancing the servers and making everyone else quit.
They eventually fixed this error, but it was much too late.

OK I figured out how to get the first mount in this game. It was so stupid that I missed that guy with the question mark.
Btw I managed to get my Warrior to lvl 11 and off the nub island too now... the ironic part is that it only took me ~2 hours instead of 4~5 with Mystic >_>

Overall TERA's pve is pretty shallow. I haven't played GW2 so I can't compare in-depth, but here's what TERA has:
Six level 60 dungeons with hardmodes plus the hardmodes of three <60 dungeons, one pvp battleground, and nexus events (daily events, pve that's raidable, but people usually go in with 4-8 people). Gear at cap is spread across tier 13 and tier 14, with best-in-slot tier 14 BoP crafted gear requiring mats from reputation vendor/dungeons/etc.
Coming sometime soon: 3v3 arena BG, another dungeon with a points/rating system for rewards. Coming sometime in 2013: a 10-man raid, a 20-man raid, a scalable 10/20-man raid, and a 20v20 BG. I posted a link to more detailed information a few pages back I think.

I played during the free headstart event, and the game was pretty sweet then. I only got to like level 20 or something, so I didn't have any problems with the games lack of endgame content. Once it goes free to play I'll probably pick it up again and play casually for a little while. Hopefully there will still be some TLers playing in February!
