UGH the questing system of this game. "We have an urgent task for you --- go kill 10 [insert monster here] so I can find some clues!!! No, you do the mindless killing while ***I*** do the fun part of figuring things out!" The mini-dungeon and the boss on the nub island was actually the most fun part of my experience so far, lol. The game is really pretty though. Probably the most pretty game I've played in my life. + Show Spoiler + And well, while I understand the racial traits of Humans and how it applies in PvE (i.e. almost none), I still chose to play a Human Mystic because her clothes look a bit better imo than, say, High Elf and Castanic. For some reason I find the Human cloth armor a bit... uh.... "less slutty" (totally subject to debate here). + Show Spoiler + No I don't like to play male characters as "mages" in RPG games. I also do not like Aman nor Elin. Do I really need to spend 20gold to get a mount? Running is soooooooo slow. | ||

Even the first instance (BoL) at level 20 or so gives you so many buffs it's impossible to die. BAMs and instances are most fun part for me. Overall, the art style (if you don't mind cute anime), graphics and combat system are the best from any MMORPG I've ever played. All the classes are unique to play, although there is a huge jump in difficulty from DPSing to healing to tanking (ie. DPS is a bigger relative faceroll) in TERA - much more so than other MMORPGs I've played. However, the end game, crafting, reward system and pretty every system itself (aside from combat) is garbage. This game is more of a shell of a game, that requires a competent designer to come in and design new content and systems for it to be a good game. It has so much potential, but sadly it will never be realized. | ||

It's really the only one you need as mount speed doesn't get much faster than what it starts as. Although other mounts are faster, it's mostly for cosmetic reasons that you would want another mount. And good luck with a Mystic. It is far and away the slowest leveling class in the game if you go solo. | ||

Although as Mystic I don't die (I died... 3 times already leveling a Warrior to level 6 due to carelessness xD) and don't need to use potions. How do I get the mount? Is it a quest in Velika city or from nub island? | ||
