Mystic's a bit weird in that especially once you get your strong auras (mainly crit) you have to stay a lot closer than a priest... so you tend to run around dropping balls/emergency healing with target while darting in and out for the +Power buff and staying in range of that terribly short 20m radius aura. | ||

I believe the target heal draws more just because you can lock 3 people with it. But the targeted heal also heals more, as it scales off your weapon's heal (for whatever reason the balls don't, but the balls also come with condition removal - only targeted causes you to get extra aggro to remove + heal, for obvious reasons). The reality though is that you're going to be using both, as the balls don't heal enough and neither does the target, later on in the game (for instance a strong hit by a boss can take out 50k hp from my lancer... targeted heal with my mystic only kicks ~25k hp, go figure). You really have to be using every tool at your disposal, heh. | ||
