Indeed. That does sound terrible.
Hopefully I can transfer to NA somehow, and don't have too high latency.
Or that gameforg gives TERA up and lets enmasse take over, but thats not likely....

When I wanted to try out the game in August, I just went straight for the NA servers as the things I heard about the company that ran EU TERA were terrible.
The latency really isn't that bad. Often I don't even notice any.

Well with NA going free to play, it shouldn't be too difficult for any EU players that want to hop on. Right now the NA trial version of the game can be played up to level 28 and sometime next month you'll be able to play all the way to level 60 for free. But as for transferring characters, that probably isn't very likely.

Last night while healing a 5-man, the Tank mentioned he was Finnish. He did skip/lag a little bit, but it wasn't too bad. We managed to finish the instance, even though he died a few times >_>
The worst is when I lag, the whole fight pauses and I can't heal shyt. Laggy duels are also a pain, you and opponent will have hard time just hitting each other.

WEll for does of you from EU there are a few EU ppl who are in the Team liquid guild here in Tempest and they say game plays not that bad so far never had a issue in dungs or raids.

Tera europe is practicly f2p right now since they have unlimited trial. Only limitations are no bank/ah, no duels and several chat options blocked.
A lot of new/old people came and they were forced to open a new pvp server today.
