Wait why didn't I get this email? I actually pre-ordered the CE when this came out. edit: is it different for the European version?

Did you sign up for email alerts? I think its something like that. The EU version is run by a different publisher so it could be different.

Yes its sadly different, Europe fails to deliver yet once again. American founders even got free time to play till it becomes f2p. The biggest reason why i stopped playing Tera is because Europe company that runs it was completely clueless about everything

Yea but in game where you have to "aim" and time evreything, playing across ocean seems like harakiri to me.

So yeah I'm sorta enjoying it so far on my lvl 12 warrior but from what I've heard Blade and Soul is basically just a far better version of Tera. Kinda wish that would hurry up and come out here in the west. Is this for real? I never played Tera before, can I really get home and play it before completely f2p? O: I hope so, I have a really important exam this weekend, but if this is true monday shall be a fun day.

I downloaded the game yesterday and up until level 9 thus far, I'm able to play without subscribing, so I would assume so.

It seems the game might have a new influx of players so it is a good time for this kind of thing..specially because it seems the endgame content can only be tackled playing as a group.

Playing a Warrior was no problem at all, not once did I feel like I avoided an attack but still got hit.Yea but in game where you have to "aim" and time evreything, playing across ocean seems like harakiri to me. I would most likely be interested in a TL guild on the NA servers as well.

Once you hit 28 you will have to buy the full game to continue on, or just wait for it to go f2p which is what I plan on doing.

We’ve added game time to your account so you can get back in the swing of things before the big update in February. (Accounts will be active until 11:59 p.m. PST on January 16.) Aside from reactivation, the above benefits will apply to your account at launch in February 2013. See our FAQ for more details. tera.enmasse.com/free I'm playing on PvE with a friend. Just hit 46 after five days; the game's just as fun as I remember it being during KR retail, and I'm looking forward to seeing the content I never had a chance to see. The game's slow pace of updates was brutal for players who subbed at launch and stayed subbed, but there are some cool things in the pipeline (just a matter of how long it'll take for EME to bring the updates over once BHS actually implements them). NA TERA is getting a 3v3 battleground and a new rated dungeon when f2p starts in February. KR TERA plans on fleshing out the political system with more gvg-focused combat, adding three new raid dungeons (one 10-man raid, one 20-man raid, and one variable 10/20-man raid), and adding a 20v20 battleground, all in the next major content patch (no release date, just a "coming soon 2013" message). source

Attack animations are slow as hell and annoying, you can't queue skills and there's a really annoying delay when jumping down the smallest of ledges. Is this something you get over? What are the unique points in tera that games with more flowing gameplay don't offer? I dunno what you're smoking to say the attacks are slow. You need to level more. Of course you can't queue skills, that'd lessen the skill gap. I played the game when it first came out but it didn't have any end game content. The reason it's good and different is the active aim combat system.
