The final WR standing from normal ESPN leagues: 1.Lloyd 2.Bowe 3.White 4.Jennings 5.C.Johnson 6. Wallace 7.Nicks 8.A. Johnson 9.Wayne 10.S. Johnson Definitely not the list people expected coming into this season. Will anyone have the BALLS to take guys like white or jennings or calvin over Andre next year? And where the hell will guys like Lloyd and Steve Johnson land? | ||

2.Jay Cutler 3.Aaron Rodgers 4.Matt Ryan 5.Matt Cassel - better overall qb than flacco 6.Joe Flacco - best when he has play action at his disposal 7.Drew Brees - Interception machine at the moment 8.Michael Vick - After watching the last game he was in, didn't like him as much 9.B. VY Gone. Fischer Stays. Something inside me says that this was the best move for the franchise to make. The team fell apart at the end of the season, I think mostly due to abysmal play calling, but they also had no QB to throw the ball for them. This draft should be good for QB's, so maybe the Titans can land someone reasonable, or find a good free agent QB as a filler until they find their permanent guy. The second worst owner in the NFL? Not surprisingly, Pat Bowlen is continuing to be Pat Bowlen and going after an offensive HC, instead of a defensive coach. When will he learn? Possibly never. Please sell, Pat... please sell. | ||

That's a terrible list, obviously. As much as I hate Rodgers and the Packers, I have to admit that he's better than Cutler at this point in time; though I feel that Cutler has all the tools to be a top 3-5 QB, he needs to make better decisions. | ||

I'm not passing judgement on Mularkey either way, just to make things clear. However that aside I'm of the strong belief that it doesn't really matter what "sort of mind" a head coach has a background in, because it's more important that the HC be able to motivate, manage, and find good people to surround himself with. Like Mike Tomlin (DC, but he didn't touch defensive stuff at all) and John Harbaugh (special teams lol). Almost every good OC/DC that becomes an HC and actually bothers dealing with the OC/DC side of the ball gets skewered for it, and they also tend to do horribly because they're not actually being an HC. If Bowlen (slash Elway) believe Mularky is "HC material" then so be it, but I don't think you should be writing the guy off on the grounds that he's an offensive mind because 90% of the time that doesn't mean anything. Another example is Joe Gibbs. People laughed at him for being a "CEO" in his second stint in Washington but by keeping a level head regarding team construction and surrounding himself with good people (and trusting them to do their job), they were doing pretty well when he retired and everything fell back down. | ||
