also thinking of playing wiz since theyll be decent again since what seemed like forever, and wiz always was the most interesting class to me. | ||

i'm still pretty miffed about forgoing teleport but apparently it works in softcore up to gr50 so i may try it out and swap one of the skills out for tp on hc | ||

With 4 months I can see myself playing a second character to keep it fresh. A few weeks ago I said that I wouldn't play a wizard because running around and waiting for Blizzard and Hydra to kill stuff looked incredibly boring but watching a few streams of melee-like tal rasha builds I think I'm going wizard. | ||

i'll just go over some things about the changes to wizards as I'm most familiar with them - delsere's was a great step in the right direction but there's a bug with the way point of no return rune for slow time works, it doesn't actually stun mobs the right way so it kind of mitigates the point of the skill. if they fix it i think wizards may have a place in high level group rifts while doing a decent amount of damage. - the firebird set needed more of a rework. 3000% burn damage per second is simply not enough especially when the debuff drops off and other classes can do more dps. the 500 int change was decent but simply not enough. - talrasha's is pretty fun to play and there's a lot of skill diversity, which I assume was the entire premise behind the 4 element interaction. i still think the single target meteor damage nerf on the boots was unnecessary but overall the set seems fun. for this season I'll probably be running talrasha's with a firebird 2p set for the extra cheat death proc seeing as I play hc. for softcore, you might be able to run 4p delsere's in combination with rorg but then you'll be sacrificing dps if you're not using focus/restraint. not sure how the math works for this. | ||
