I know there are some gem upgrades and other efficiency rerolls needed but I've actually been pretty unlucky this season so far (only p101) and I'm pretty broke on gold and souls. I may start doing some bane of the hoarder runs to finally get some gold. I'm trying to save my souls to only reroll gear I'd use endgame, currently only have about 11. | ||

Think about it this way - you are wanting to put a bane of the trapped in a socket instead of the crit. Assuming you have rank 25 trapped we're talking ~22% additional dmg plus the aoe slow. But that 10% crit chance at ~350 crit damage I see from your profile means the crit is worth about 35% profile damage. So if you change from the crit to a socket you will lose more damage than you will gain, even considering a highly ranked trapped gem. edit: I agree with above that smite gem might be a better option than trapped. I was only comparing trapped to crit in my post. | ||

taeguk is cool with innas because you always have your max amount of taeguk stacks as spirit winds is reduced to 5 spirit (when you're passive regen alone is higher than that per second) | ||

i thought about buying the expansion and play. is the game really picked up ? i used to grind for days and find so much crap it was heart breaking  all i ask is to have remotely decent drops every once in a while , due to the fact i have no optimal gear on ANY of my chars , it seems like a reasonable ask , isnt it ? btw - I hit my first goal of the season, to get on the leaderboards (I start small), I got #729 on solo HC monk ladder after a relatively easy GR29. I think with my current gear I could push 31/32 fairly safely. My goal for this character is top100 so please no RIP. I really need some better optimized gear, gem levels and a new weapon but I think it's doable. I had a massive scare though when bnet started to lag and I spiked to 1500ms while in a rift. I just ran back to the entrance teleporting the entire way seeing my health go up and down. All I could think was, 'not like this' as I ran what seemed far enough away and managed to TP home after 20 secs of channeling. in game stat sheet with full taeguk is like 1.1M/26M. RG are still just about the longest part of my clears though which is pretty annoying but standard. I wish D3 had a better damage calculator as sheet DPS is almost entirely pointless. | ||
