Either people don't realize the gold/xp they are missing on normal, or they don't care and max legendaries is their only goal. Which is a valid view of course. I'm pretty sure blizzard said that items are rolled when cache is received, it's just a bug that you can get imperial gems from opening them in higher difficulties. I farmed a stash tab and a half of caches on normal and opened them all on T6 for a whopping 1 legendary... Lady luck is not with me anymore. Also people really underestimate the exp you can get on lower difficulties. It might be different for me since I play HC and can't just go full glass cannon but the additional clearspeed of hard makes it about the same exp as torment 1 with much better odds for drops. Source please. I would really like to know.

Then I opened it with my DH (lvl 70) in t6, the items were all level 20ish (the level my crusader was when I got the cache). so there's that.
but in the caches i opened yesterday (all of which i did in normal), i opened them in t1 (wasn't paying attention, thought it was just normal) and got a few imperial level gems. so....

Been watching streams, and from my own experience, hammer Crusaders are so bad. Maybe it's just everyones build, but my damage is laughable compared to my friends, even though we have similar gear. It's too bad blessed hammers is just so fun.

I don't think that it's just blessed hammer, I think Crusaders as a class just have no sustained damage whatsoever to speak of compared to say a wiz.

Wizard is imo a bad class to compare to since it has such good synergy between its skills. But yes the Crusader seems to be at the bottom in almost every metric. Yes you can do good dmg/tank with items im sure but your still going to be worse then any other class with equal item levels.

What do people think ideal main stats for a weapon are? Do you think you should have vit on your weapon or do you want only damage stats?

It's easier to find a weapon with that affix already. Using a slightly inferior level 70 weapon isn't the end of the world ^_^ Plus then you can change the main stat it rolled to suit your character

Click the little question mark next to the stats. It will show you what you can get when you enchant that stats. You cannot turn any stats into any other.
