i bought through blizzard so i can play tonight. i had the same issue with preorder when d3 release. the primary reason i missed all the joy wolfinthesheep is talking about. =)

I logged in a few hours ago. I just tabbed back into the game, created a crusader and everything is running smooth so far

PL isn't hard nowadays.
I'll play tomorrow morning I'm too tired to wait midnight. And servers are always more stable in the morning than during a midnight release.

Does LoH work on area damage?

![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/oMJyCTC.jpg) Found this at level 62. Having this at level 47 should be fun :o

lvl 61 item already has 300 more dps and a bunch of int over any other lvl 60 item.

Not that hard. At my current paragon level, with the 100% community buff over the weekend, it takes me around 45-60 min to level up. Going from level 60-70 only takes 1.5x as much exp as one level at my current paragon level.

I'm pretty excited for this since I've managed to not know shit about RoS. I know the new boss is some angel guy that starts with an M, the new class uses shields, and that there's an adventure mode. :D

Given how shit the story has been in all Blizzard games, you're doing yourself a favour by not knowing the background.

YOU CAN'T STOP ME spoilers: yes you can

So I started playing through act V on a level ~52 sorcerer (as far as i got last time, haven't played over a year), everything's really easy and relaxed on master, then i reach urzael (lvl 58 now) and suddenly i'm getting oneshot every time he takes out his flamethrower.
Is there any trick to dodging it reliably? Or do i just need to go grind gear somewhere, because this is feeling literally impossible. Even teleport>wormholing across the room as soon as he gets into position isn't a surefire way to survive.
Also it took me forever to find the sub forum again, is it just me or has it vanished from the sidebar o.0

yikes, had to one down torment 1 , tried torment 2 for the hour I had this morning ( damn you work ! ) mobs were fine, elites were challenging but some of the purples just slapped me around so hard I reduced the difficulty.
Westmarch commons is the only place I have tried so far, it's huge with a butt load of events. Only one I disliked was one which summoned Onooth (?) the Warlock who made a habit of 1 shooting with some ability I could not see.
rest seems pretty good so far, torment 1 looks nice for now. can't wait to play some more.

Well I made my way through the campaign on my monk. Final difficulty - hard, with only 3 upgrades along the way. Found a couple more afterwards doing a single bounty run though. If I can manage to socket my weapons, I'll probably be up in the 400k DPS range on a monk with ~5m toughness. Not too shabby.

Nicest way to do it is to just stun as soon as he starts animation for flamethrower if you have a class that can. otherwise it is avoidable, but moving as soon as animation starts is good. I was on t4 and the flamethrower definitely instakilled me. I died a few times before I got it. I did eventually have to lower difficulty just because as you level up the mobs gain strength incredibly fast and if you allready had decent gear you really dont. t4 was very easy at 60 for me (standard farming difficulty) and I think I made it to 64 but at that point it was quite difficult and I eventually got my nostalgia fill of dieing regularly. I basically ended up dropping a torment every other level, and finished it out on t1. This was with a couple decent upgrades post 66. Pretty decent curve, I really didn't want to fly through first playthrough, enjoy it more the first time if its a decent challenge.

All the balance changes, loot remodels, xp bonuses, etc along with the repetitive grinding, just makes this feel like any other casual game (ie. Clash of clans). I.e. great waste of time until you start asking yourself the question why you're doing this. Nothing is guaranteed in the future of the game. The 7k probably didn't mean much to this guy, but the idea of it all still puts me off.
