I am actually working on development of toolkit for diablo 3, which aims to simulate and evaluate all classes at all level with various equipment on. And that tool is designated to help you with decision making on dilemma case for equipment. Things, however, do not go simply as they are thought of. Well, when I calculate the Armor of my character (a wizard at 60(65) ), there is a problem which confused me. "The value of Armor DOES NOT match with the property of Strength." The Armor is determined by the Strength point (without any gears on, nor skill effects on). My profile is as following: Str 132 Dex 132 Int 382 Vit 257 Armor 138 (<---------------- look at this comparing with Str = 132) Damage 12.35 Question? Where does the extra 6 points (138-132) come from? Thank you guys in advance for give me a help.Cannot go further for my calculator unless this prob is solved. | ||

but people shouldnt call armageddon on d3 just yet. yes, player and viewer numbers as well as forum activity have gone down during the last few weeks. but this also has to do with the summer: many people are on vacation or prefer to spend their freetime outside. another thing that i want to emphasize is that d2 had the exact same problems with item inflation as d3. the only difference is that the auction house acts as a catalyzer and speeds up this item inflation. i think the best solution for both this problem and the longevity of d3 would be to adopt the races and minicompetitions of PoE. at its core, d3 has the better fundamentals than PoE, its just pulled down by the inflation and lack of endgame. (funny thing to note: yesterday, i was looking at the twitch stream overview and was astounded that poe had 3.1k viewers while d3 had 2.8k or so. well, then i saw that 2.7k of the 3.1k viewers of poe were on kripps stream XD) | ||
