If you log out with every damage buff and shrine available on you, you can get this yes. | ||

Plus maybe he logged off with some buffs from other classes. | ||

Plus maybe he logged off with some buffs from other classes. After you add 25 IAS, his dps reaches 420k. He needs scoundrel buff, WD's slam dance BBV, and a ton more to double his dps to 800k. It's cool if your cluster arrows explode for several million damage though. If you get lucky with a devouring arrow you might get 10 million damage... | ||

I don't think the nerfs are in a bad direction, but with how gear works players become too powerful at top gear levels. You can't have gear/players scaling like this at the top and also want a "challenge" or to not be bored. Conversely people also want to feel "powerful" in the game, but then the gear system comes up again with only the top really being able to achieve that. As for the changes themselves, removal of invuln minions is a big one because it was one of the cheesier affixes that could be absolutely godawful for some. To go along with that, more affix tuning is something that should have been done ages ago, hopefully there will also be some small limitations on combos implemented as well for the lesser geared and progressing folk. Enrage timers were just a terrible idea to begin with. I feel some normal enemies should get more than a slight buff since post 1.03 most are cake even for those with crappy gear as long as you don't try to turret everything or dive into 50 mobs. Monster scaling nerf in parties is logical because their hp scales more than player dps and it can be punishing in some situations, which shouldn't be the case. I don't really think loot needs much of a buff now but I guess more magic item drops wouldn't hurt for making crafting easier and more viable as an upgrade path. The ilevel 61-62 weapon dps buff makes some sense with a legendary change since there are legendary weapons at those ilevels that are complete garbage partially because of their lower dps. | ||

I understand that Diablo is supposed to be a 'farming game', but when you go through an act literally dozens of times and get nothing even remotely good, it really kills your desire to farm anymore. I go through the Class threads and the only advice I see is 'go to the AH'. I also hope they fix the WD because I feel like the class is a failure. | ||

Time to make a new char, or go hardcore, or wait for their end-game patch. Edit: or solo self-drop too, or naked, etc, etc. Diablo 2 forums should give you some hints as to how you can play Diablo for real fun. | ||

you can introduce all sorts of dps-gear check in arena/minigames, add incentive to show off/feel 1337 etc etc and basically make this a game for 15 year olds in 25 year old bodies. | ||

Sky high damage (more for ranged) is cheap difficulty inflation, not actual difficulty like more intelligent elite mobs and boss abilities being random as well as actually aimed at the player. New Inferno is harder unless you were already geared and/or able to boost alts. To be on topic with the changes, I really feel they should be trying to churn something out for players to clear, maybe another like two levels a la Whimsyshire (minus ponies). Filler would be way better than the nothing and slow pace of changes they're giving us right now. Not like it would be too difficult with all the crappy copypasta they already did throughout the current ones. I facepalmed when Watchtower was the same environment as Cathedral even though in story they're centuries apart and completely different types of structures. | ||

Everyone with 1mill+ kills has the same goldfind/pickup radius gear. Wonder if those will get banned. | ||
