the blue shield is better 260 armor and way more resist all, plus even if the block chance is lower it blocks way more damage but u can get a 40+ resist 60+ vit/str aegis for <50k the blue armors probably better but it's not as clear cut as the other one. the blue armor gives more survivability but the yellow one adds a bunch of damage u should be able to get a 40+ resist 60+ vit/str chest piece for <50k it'll have less armor but the stats will be a lot better | ||

So +298 armor is roughly equal to +30 all resist. A successful block often negates 70-100% of the incoming damage. This makes block chance the primary attribute by which you judge a shield since block value typically goes up as you buy better shields anyway. | ||

Action RPGs are the kind of game you either enjoy or you don't...There isn't some middle ground where you play through the game once and think you got your moneys worth in my opinion. Chances are his holiday will have ended by the time Torchlight 2 is released. | ||
