The game is already very slow compared to D2 :mass teleport, insane movement speed with assassins/anyone with charms, crazy IAS (guided arrow zons/filling the screen with multishot/etc). I can't fathom why they want to make it even slower.

Sounds like monks are in real trouble, and DH's might no longer have much reason to be complained about. A close to 2/3 nerf...from Blizzard...and I always filed half their nerfs under "too little, too late, metagame shifting already did more to resolve it than they did."

maybe it'll just affect new items, but not the old ones. imagine the terror from the people that bought stuff over the RMAH xD 250€ for an item that got nerfed to the ground.

That's right, because it wasn't finished when they released it. Enrage timers? Those bosses die in less than 20 seconds anyways. If those IAS nerfs are true I feel VERY sorry for whoever bought these. ![]()

"Increases attack speed" doesn't work. "Attack speed increase by" works. I kind of hope this nerf is real, because atm ranged classes clear inferno WAYYYY to easily. Before I sold all my DH's stuff it was doing 250k dps w/ sharpshooter(105k w/o, 20% innate crit chance) and could do seige runs in 10-12 minutes if underbridge spawned.

To be honest though, DH will still be fine. If you go for high dex and crit&crit dmg your DPS is still very very high. So i think other classes might get hit more, those who didn't have much DPS.

I stacked attack speed on weapon, gloves, helm, chest, ring, ring, ammy, had 2.2k dex, and barely killed most packs in the 6 ss time.

Visage seems like it will remain a best option as it can have a reasonably good int/dex score and has some crit, so even a nerfed IAS is still setting it out ahead of what a random rare can be. With that in mind the price might overcrash in response to the nerf making them very worth picking up. Lacuni prowlers might survive as well thanks to also having move speed. Similar for Inna's Glory (once it works), and maybe even Flavor of Time. The IAS will probably not be able to carry the low stat scores on the lower level legendaries though; boj anglers and the like will only be getting fixed in time to be rendered useless (to level 60s) it seems. The rule of thumb where getting IAS on a slot that can only usually spawn int/dex for offense is really good will still hold true though. It is the random items that really lose in this. That choice between crit damage/chance and IAS just switched from being slanted in favor of the IAS to not being a much of a real choice at all in favor of the crit. Edit: On the DH, it is true that the nerf will hit them a bit harder as every DH is 'married' to an IAS slot with their quiver. That will simply be nerfed and there is no reitemizing for something else. Second edit: seems that is not the case as the same datamining has indicated that quivers were spared from the IAS nerf.

Gj blizz, going to search increase crit rings to replace mine. Do you mean if you're using crit proc abilities? crit doesn't get better if you stack it otherwise
