This isnt about some millions of dollars people will, this is about the right of people to know what product they bought. If the product only reveals its properties after the purchase, you have to have the right to return it! So they will probably lobby and sue with the goal of a recall. And better labeled boxes. what do you mean gain traction, if this associations puts this news on their frontpage, it is allready rolling. | ||

I meant that this seems like a frivolous lawsuit, and the lawsuits might not get filed or even get thrown out of court. But then people have sued McDonalds for not warning that they could get fat. And sued Nutella because they thought it was a healthy product. And they won. So anything can happen I suppose. If the lawsuits fail to materialize, then Blizzard simply benefits immensely. Bad publicity is still publicity. Ask Paris Hilton. She knows best. | ||

It's probably the most uncommon of the affixes, I rarely see it, but it's not new. It basically stops any projectiles moving when they go within 5 yards or so of the elite mob and to do damage you have to force him to move your projectiles. It's funny to fire a gazillion arcane orbs towards him, make him walk through them and make him take a ton of damage in one go. | ||

Does anyone here have both CE and SE on one account? If you call Blizzard customer support they will refund your standard edition and then put the CE on your account. You'll keep all of your stuff and get all of the fancy CE goodies. Pretty sweet. I did it and it worked fine, though I got the standard edition from BNet -- dunno what they'll do if you bought it boxed. Also, my account mysteriously switched to a starter edition a few days after the upgrade, though another call to customer support fixed that pretty quickly. So look out for that. | ||

Do to my ass being poor (Gold Wise in game) I tend to cruise the auction house for cheap, but valuable stuff in desperation to not suck at Inferno. One very strange thing is that some items either have a bid that is not updated via searching and freshing, so any bid I submit simply gets rejected as being insufficient, despite the price being up to date. Or allegedly. Has anyone else had this happen, as it happens to me on dozens of items. So either my bidding prices aren't showing accurately and making me feel like a jackass, I'm so insanely unlucky that there are 5 people bidding at the same time as me, or there are programs that auto-bid if someone shows an interest in an item. Just an example: Auction price is 300k, so next bid is 315k. I quick refresh my search, find the item again, no price change so I bid. Immediately get told 315k is too low. The price updates to 315k, so I bid again at 332k. Again, immediately told... essentially until the auction is no longer worth it. Anyone know what's up? | ||
