there is an event at the begining of act 2 where you help soem necromancer defeat spirits or something from the coven. ha nice to talk to him and mention that his mentor was one of the hero's who defeated baal. THATS RIGHT my necromancer from d2 had a student whom is now a badass killing coven scum like Trex at a steak house. made me chuckle i guess... | ||

Because from my first farm runs in inferno with mf gear it does not really look like it. For example often on the first elite pack I will only get 3 blues and no yellows, even with 180% mf on. And then later with stacked nephalem buff, I usually get 1-2 yellows, even if I dont switch to mf gear and only have 75 % mf. From these very empirical observations it seemed to my like stacking the nephalem valor buff works, while switchign to mf before kills does not. Can anyone say smth definite? Wondering the same about mf on chests btw, I have read very different things about this everywhere on the net. I am really surprised that it does not seem that clear what is going on here. | ||

I can understand it was doable when you were one of the first player in inferno and you could farm the artefact and sell your loot on an empty AH but is it still possible to get so much money now ? Ok, he sells waypoints for 50K on his stream but still... | ||

Amazing items, great for someone trying to beat act 4 inf: tons of millions buyout. 2. Good items, def not BiS, but good enough to progress in inferno: Several million buyout. 3. Meh item, good itemization but not amazing values: A few hunded thousand. 4. Rest: Worth nothing at all, pure luck if you can even sell it for 20k. So basically, most people in inferno can't afford upgrades, and get almost no money for drops, because the jump is SO huge. Since the game was released, I've been able to sell about 3-4 items for more than 30k, that's it. My best sell was 200k. | ||

ive made over 25 mil, im a MONK BY THE WAY THE WORST FUCKING CLASS THERE IS... for farming anyway. sold some set pants for 7 mil sold some gloves for 2 mil bunch of other shit for 1.5 mil here and there, then heaps of other shit for 500k and under they key is to underprice everything so it sells fast. with the pants i had, everyone else was asking for 10-15mil. i sell for 7. weapons? 2-3mil average on AH? I sell for 800-1mil. If you want to get the best price for your items, then wait it out. if you want to make the most money, do runs, and sell shit for lower than what it's worth to keep the 10item slots rotating. i just bought a 8 mil one hander, and thanks to the pants sale, im back up to 8 mil. you can call it luck, but I spend hours doing this belial run that takes me 20-30mins tops. | ||

On which quest do you start for the belial run? I tried just porting to Oasis, get 4 stacks and go kill belial with 5 stacks (with the 1 pack in front of him) but it takes me more than 20-30mins :O) | ||

MOST of the time theres 2 mobs there, but sometimes 1. then i also head to oasis (i head north-east coz theres a 100% spawn rate of a mob outside the ancient waterway). and your bound to find one or two mobs along the way (if 1, just go all the way there). and yeah the one mob before belial is great. note, if the elites are really annoying (shields and shit or i die because of imba combo's and i either skip or just grind it out) then it takes a bit longer as you can imagine. but the ones inside the alcarnus are usually easy to kill (but also msometimes incredibly annoying) TBH the drops arn't great, I MF switch (10 items lawl) before mob kill and belial (dont know if this helps). But every now and then something worth selling comes along and i try to clear it asap. | ||
