Even when someone finishes Inferno - still remains open the hardcore challenge ^^, it seems it should take quite a lot of time, because with the current speed of progression people die very very often.

We were watching all 3 streams all day to watch out for farming exploits, we didnt see anyone even look at diablo yet. From what we noticed nL is the most progressed but got majorly stuck at one of the bosses ( icant tell act 4 bosses apart we ran that shit to fast lol) Method was just farming act 4 first boss all day.

I think they said it would take something like 6 months to clear inferno but it will only take a month or two max for me and probably less than 2 weeks for those playing within a clan. I really love the game but I just feel like this should be harder. The difficulty spike in Hell and Inferno is pretty high. I wouldn't get too ahead of yourself. Act IV was pretty short, but not so short that it should be completely forgotten about.

I don't know how many of you remember this, but Hardcore Inferno sounds like Angband (or the other Rogue clones)! Tons of horrible one-shotting, stupidly powerful monsters. No wimping out and bringing your 40+ game hour character back to life. Sounds perfect! Finally a game to challenge me as well as Angband ^^

You can just keep trying over and over again, but I guess softcore needs something to make them feel special. Where is the fun in that. You forget this is a game.

If they dealt 25% instead of 10% so that you were naked after four deaths the various streamers would be finding things... more intense I bet.

I was shopping for gems and reloaded a few times to get good prices. Then I was a Flawless Square Topaz at 1650 (usual price around 15k) so I instantly bought it. I thought this was pretty fun so I kept going for a few minutes, but the next 3 times this happened, I got grossly overchargd (2k -> 13k, 11k -> 17k, 2600 -> 6k). The search result clearly shows the low price, when I click buyout, it asks if I want to pay the low price in the pop-up, and then it seems to charge me whatever it wants. Really annoying.

Maybe my gear is really good because I got some good deals on the auction house but I almost notice no difference between normal. Since i played Diablo2 i'm amazed at D3's NM not being as easy as D2's NM. D2 nightmare always felt soooo much easier than normal to me

Maybe my gear is really good because I got some good deals on the auction house but I almost notice no difference between normal. Nightmare has been different for me because I actually have to care if a champion mob gets next to me. In normal I could take hits and just spam kill everything. So far in Nightmare I have really low health on my Witch Doctor that certain champion modifiers can be dangerous. It's not hard, but I definitely can't just run around wherever I feel like anymore.
