correct option is to get smokescreen skill extended to 3 seconds and preperation, which means over15 seconds of total immortality, during which u can just stand in their face and kill them
(replace vault with smokescreen, you can use it when you are about to get hit, it makes you invulnerabe to damage! works on boss skills too. I dont even know how to play DH without that skill)

Got lvl 42, at lvl 44 I'll have 2 new 1-handed crossbows that should increase my DPS by quite a bit. I'm not sure though, perhaps bow and quiver would be better? I just really love the extra crit chance from the bows, especially as both of my new crossbows have increased crit damage.
I'm thinking about either a critrate or an aspd build with that crit discipline passive and then spamming Smoke Screen, I could solo inferno...
@JingleHell is there a reason why you cannot kill that? o_O That's like 10 hits perhaps
The reason I can't kill it is because they'll kill me in 8 hits, they blink in front of me with molten paths, there's not much room to dance. They're hulking phasebeasts.

Act 2 NM is a noticeable increase in difficulty over Act 1 NM for my Witch Doctor although it has a lot to do with me prioritizing int/damage over vitality/defense

Yeah I was up at 5k dps but realized I found it so much easier to focus on tanking w/ a decent amount of dps.
Edited my last post with my skills/such

Edit: My passives are the gain hp/spirit used, +2 spirit regen when mantra is up, and all resistances = your highest resistance. I have 40% resistances to everything since physical resistance is easy as all hell to find, and on top of that 50% dmg reduction from armor, have a fist wep that I got off the AH for 6000 gold that must have been listed accidentally since it's 203dps and has nice stats and a shield.
1-4 Skills are the AOE heal with rune that gives increased spirit for 5secs after use, kick with stun rune (when I'm playing cautiously I have the immunity for 3s+heal rune instead), mystic ally spirit rune, healing mantra w/ spirit rune (though as long as you use the dodge or healing mantra it doesn't matter too much)
Primary/secondary skills are way of the hundred fists w/ fists of fury rune b/c I like that you get the small leap on first punch, way of light w/ explosive light rune absolutely destroys EVERYTHING and heals you for a shit ton.
Spam your 1 skill when it comes off CD, keep ally up, keep mantra up and keep the 3s bonus up when under heavy dmg and use explosive light if you need the AOE/healing (it heals for a shit ton)

Uhm, right. That's easy enough to say. Get video of you doing a pack like that and then say that. Otherwise, I'm going to stick with my current plan that involves NOT dying. The whole pack hitting me twice would kill me. And since they like to teleport all over the place, I'm nowhere near guaranteed to kill them all.

if you dont like those pacs, dont go into heaven where a pack of rare opressors is waiting for you :D
|
Oh, I fully plan to keep moving. I just also don't see a point in fixating on killing one particular pack that's utterly ridiculous.

Our Wizard has 30700 listed DPS. I have around 11k

Meh :<
That's like tank monk. I didn't roll this class to do that initially. I want to kick shit with my staff T_T ( or my polewarm for the moment... looted a 300 dps polearm right at the beginning of Hell difficulty lol )

I don't see a point in posting a screeny of it and saying it requires no description, it really doesn't seem special at all to me o_o I'll try to get to that point in like 4 hours and see what happens
|
Medrea, does your wizard's super-death cheating build require special items/a party to pull off? I'm getting totally stuck in Hell Act 2 because I can't survive longer than a second against the snakes. (Can't kill them at range due to invisibility, die instantly in melee)

If it doesn't seem special, I assume you only commented to feel special? As it turns out, different playstyles and setups have trouble with different things, no news here. People who can comisserate with the ugliness of that pack can, and if you don't see it as a big deal, that's nice. Unless of course, you can quote me the part of my post where I asked for advice? It was pretty obviously pure complaint about an annoying pack.

just try my advice and get smokescreen. you can use it during their attack and get invulnerable for 3 secs, either enough to kill 1 or to hurt him badly and then impale stun.

Just solo'd the SK on inferno as Demon Hunter (wooo!)

Kinda. With a monk generating 1200 HPS and HP regen gear he generates the required 35 percent HP in about 1 second. If he gets hit faster than once a second he falls apart. Like to reflect damage enemies.

He's grinding exp so he can enter hell. I'd assume Act4 Nightmare would be the best as well.

Yeah, hell has level 50 requirement.
