Last night I played at 3am and even then got quite frequent lag spikes. In single player! That's some retarded netcoding... My net is crazy good and I've never had lag in any other games. Dota 2 for example I get 50ms, while Diablo 3 gets 80ms at best!

Is it just me or does melee seem way stronger than ranged ? Im act4 nm currently and 8 of 10 games I join a dh or wiz sits there waiting for a melee to tank. I should have rolled a monk. The evade mantra seems way way too strong.

World of meleecraft I guess ... You just join them because game is designed that way. What would be the fun of 4 barbarians trololololo smashing stuff. But as a DH I must admit that coop with barb is super easy. He just tanks stuff and I dps, games goes 3times faster, I've played Act 1 and 2 on NM, equaly long solo as with group and it's much much faster and easier in co-op

Dunno about that. The monk I just played with had only 8k hp in act 4 nm oO. I have 15k and cant tank a mob for 3 secs when Im soloing. The monk told me he has about 80% dodge so he could tank MASSES of mobs with his 8k.

If you watch hell/inferno streams, you'll notice that the tables are turned. Even though the ranged characters get 1-2 shotted by mobs, the melee characters are in a horizontal position 3-4 times more frequently than the ranged characters. Then, you have to take into account the time spent running away doing 0 damage, while ranged characters are still able to stutter step.
Try fighting extra health fire chains jailer electrified elite mobs.

They encountered an elite pack of zombies (not some uber mob, but just zombies) which had abilities similar to what I posted. I think it was extra health fire chains frozen and something else. They spent like 20-30 minutes clearing those after dying countless times. The melee characters kept getting their asses kicked so bad.

Something about they get created by other demons sewing together yet more demons to combine their powers. So I assume its just a fresh butcher for us to kill.

I'm clearing Hell A2 with my DH buddy atm. I'm often standing in the thick of things, with just small stutterstep kiting or dodging arcane/freeze when necessary. Stomp/Revenge/Warcry lets me stay in there for ages. About half the packs I can just stand still.

i dont feel like my DH is weak.
sure, i have to kite, but you need like 60 APM to do it without losing too much dps. And when i get a tank in my group, its even better, i can just stand there and do all my damage potential. I dont know what passives other classes have, but i get +50% damage from them.

On release day, I got 5 hours of sleep over 2 days prior, and didn't know Hungering Arrow was homing. Using dual crossbows and stutter step microing for a whole day on that little sleep was...well, I'm glad i found out it's homing.
