I typically run up to a pack of monsters and Soul Harvest to get Int stacks up then cast Grasp of Dead on them then pew pew away with Dire Bats Gargantuan seems to be a decent tank and I use Explosive Toads because I'm too lazy to target stuff. I'm also running the Gruesome Feast passive. so much Int stacking with my Witch Doctor

Is it as good as it's been hyped up to be? It's definitely not going to match the hype. No game hyped up to be, "game of the decade," ever will. But it is immensely fun. Also, the server issues are probably getting a bit over-exaggerated. Aside from when the server's went down earlier this evening for awhile and the challenge of getting in when the servers first opened at 12AM PDT the game has been pretty stable for lots of players (if not most players).

They party above could have benefit from a Barb more than a Monk I think.

I mean it makes sense if it's a magic wand but how does it make sense that holding a standard dagger would make an ice bolt do more damage? Now I understand it's a fantasy game and not real life but still I like fantasy worlds to be internally consistent and I can't think of any good reason why holding a normal melee weapon should affect the damage of a ranged spell. Am I missing something here? Nope, not missing anything. It's a straight up trade of flavor consistency for gameplay mechanics.

Am I missing something here? It VASTLY improved gamesplay to have it this way. If you have such a huge problem with something that insignificant, just make something up... How about, uh, magic users have an inate ability to channel energy through their weapons, and the quality of the weapon boosts the energy. Seriously, it's just some abstract part of the basic lore, you don't need the game to tell you exactly why using a normal dagger boosts your magic, it's made-up anyway so just make something up yourself.

I found out that they took 15% transaction fee...I doesn't with gold item I think but once in the RMAH 15% seems like quite a lot. It's like the country taking a 15% tax when you sell items, doesn't seem to make all the stores close down... (And yes this has been discussed to death)

Am I missing something here? What's funny to me is that I've yet to really use a magic wand. On my wizard I keep finding morning stars, swords, daggers, and other weapons that are just straight better than any wands or stalves. To be honest, I don't really give a fuck though. I look way cooler walking around with a sword and spellbook than I do with some tiny wand.

I heard that Wizard kind of sucked in D2 because of all spell immunities on the higher difficulties.
