What's the problem? Only people that should have a problem with it are the ones who would race to pickup everything as fast as possible with no regard to anybody else. So if you were that kind of person I'm glad you're unhappy.

I'm not a big fan of the new painterly soft look of D3, but I'm pretty sure I'll still buy and play the hell out of it when it comes out. SC2's graphics were a real turn off for me, but in the end the gameplay was what kept me coming back.

No, but if you are in a party and your whole party is making an effort to kill the enemy everyone should have an equal chance to pick up items.
If a player does 30% of the damage and its killed by another player it would make more sense for both players to have an equal chance at the drops.

Which is how it will work... What exactly is your argument?
|
he doesnt understand the concept of random drops and is unhappy about seemingly being cheated out of items other players will get without him being able to have a say in the matter (=grab the item).
|
The item drop system kind of sucked in Diablo 2 haha, of course every now and then it would treat you well, In an 8 player chaos run I managed to pick up a Ber which funded me soooo many items lol : D
But more often than not, living in australia my ping would make me slower at picking up items : ( it was just fun but unreliable in a way, obviously this system would be more fair

Will they have no LAN... I play mostly SP in D2 so no LAN would totally suck.
|
I think they will, they wouldn't do that to diablo 3, they must have realised that a lot of people loved the hell out of diablo 2 single player, but they might require online authentication, the single player might be similar to how sc2 is regarding single player I guess :S

If there's any LAN at all it probably requires constant BNet connection...
Otherwise the SC2 community will cast an insane shitstorm demanding LAN too

it stopped being fun when people used either bots or other programs to auto pick up the important loot (torches, anni, t3 uniques, hrs) almost instantly.

Dude is making a upset about the loot system, which was implemented 3 alphas ago.
No, but if you are in a party and your whole party is making an effort to kill the enemy one guy should have an equal chance to pick up all the items. fixed?

Diablo 3 Pug -Everyone gets equal ilevel value of drops. Players will be trading with each other.

IIRC magic find sorcs were designed specifically to snipe items.

Unfortunately I can't see LAN being a part of Diablo 3, for the exact reason you just stated. The SC2 community shit storm would tear Blizzard a new one. Similar to the damage Bioware are taking at the moment from the community for non-sensical things in DA2 and having SecureROM in it.

So, you don't know what telekinesis did?
