i'm leaning towards a Diablo4 announcement or some kind of Diablo full game announcement and not merely an expansion. However, the D3 team has lost a lot of talent in the last 6 to 12 months and Blizzard could be just restocking the shelves for a 2nd expansion. Based on all the free content they've been giving away i don't think its an expansion though.. i think we're getting a full game. some big streamer guy is being flown to Germany for GamesCom so maybe they'll announce something at GamesCom. a Diablo with combat desgined for touchscreen tablets perhaps? | ||

There is only so many times you can inflate numbers while adding mechanics and rebalancing. Diablo 3 is way past that point already. Not to mention the game is 4 years old already. If announced today, Diablo 4 will probably come out in 2019-2020, which means Diablo 3 will be 7-8 years old when that happens. That's enough time for a sequel. | ||

Last season I played DH and Wiz (always Wiz...). This season I was thinking about Monk, since it also seems like they got one of the only "new" builds (kick fireballs? also it's been a while since I DPS/solo monked) in this relatively straightforward patch. But DH also gets UE as Haedrig's Gift in S7, and since Monk and DH could share dex gear it almost feels like a sin not to roll a DH first and get a great braindead Torment farming build going early. Wonder how well monks would grind with the Raiment set? I've only ever seen/used that for GR pushing lately, no idea how terrible it is for a season starter or not. | ||

About the current patch, the thing that got me somewhat excited is that redesign of one of the gems. Now immune to all CC effects at lvl 25. Finally i dont have to play with ignorepain/wrath just to get the CC immunity. NOW i can actually PUT some variation out there, be somewhat creative.. Well more like "creative", anyway not sure i will play though diablo3 has lost its appeal... But ..maybe... | ||
