For what it's worth non-seasonal the top WD is running LoN Firebats. | ||

There are no good meteor build this season, because the only legendary affix specific to meteor only gives a ~x2.5 damage multiplier (Nilfur Boots) Compare it to Arcane Orb (x3 AND x7 for total x21 with unstable scepter and triumvirate) or Explosive Blast (x4 AND x1.16 for ~x5 with great damage reduction) and you see that it's outclassed It can still be fun though | ||

First, Flame Blades got gutted - the (good) old serpent sparker builds would basically set up the hydras and then spam flame blades into density, netting them somewhere north of 300 stacks. That would about triple their damage. Current flame blades is good for at most 30 stacks, so it's basically worthless. A somewhat heavy-handed balancing change. Two, as Thezzy said, the lag is a major issue once you start pushing into the 70s and 80s and stuff starts taking a long time to die. Three, its competition is just a lot better. It's the same reason meteor tals is dead, Twister DMO is just way way stronger for groups and even for solo. | ||

The season journey gives you the set, the first 2 pieces are given when you get to 70 I believe, the other 4 come later on, just keep working on completing the chapters. | ||

hit lvl 70 Kill Kulle on T2 Complete Grift 20+ and obligatory reference that the gifts are once / season / account. So open them wisely if you plan to play multiple characters. | ||

You need good ancient versions of very specific items for most slots. And if your lacking a few ancient versions, even with all the items, Helltooth is still pretty much better. | ||

You get the first two pieces for hitting 70 / chap 1 or something. the second gift comes from killing kulle at T2+ and the third from clearing GR20+ | ||

I'm doing 5pc UE with a RORG and cindercoat in the cube and I'm at the point (GR 63) where I need to swap out to COE, but I don't wanna lose the cindercoat! It just offers too much damn regen. In other words, marauder 6 is far and away the best set for demon hunters this season. Sad really, after all these years it's quite boring to play...but getting 60% dr from the belt, mega chakrams, aquila cuirass, resists from all followers, 5 turrets all firing your chakrams with insane damage...it's just too damn good. It's actually sickening, really...How is UE supposed to compete with that? | ||

The first post was implying you actually had to complete chapters of the season journey to get the set. You do not. You get 2 pieces from hitting 70. Two from killing Zoltun Kuul on Torment 2. And the last two from completing Grift 20 solo. The season journey has (almost, they are objectives in it) nothing to do with it. | ||
